5 stars isn't enough to rate Maikel and his wonderful apartment! Our first family trip anywhere in Europe, it was well appointed with everything we needed. Unfortunately our travel plans changed and our 2 night stay was shortened to 1 before continuing our travels.
Maikel was extremely responsive to all messages and was incredibly helpful with recommendations for airport transfers - everything from detailed instructions for taking the train to Ubers and Taxis.
Using Google maps, we easily found the apartment and almost walked right by the entrance as it is located on a very lively street in between shops and restaurants.
Once inside the 5th floor apartment, everything was quiet even though the street was busy below.
The 5 flights of winding stairs were an adventure, but I would not recommend for anyone with any mobility impairments - 4 carryon suitcases with backpacks were easy enough though.
The checkin was very easy as Maikel offered very detailed instructions to all the locks and doors.
The apartment itself is quaint and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen, living room with a very comfortable pullout sofa bed.
There is a washing machine, a toilet and shower and the sink is in the main bedroom. More than enough space for a family of 4 to sleep and call 'home' while checking out all that the area has to offer.
We highly recommend walking the street (Rue Mouffetard) for crepes galettes and Par'ici for souvenirs.
