The apartment was a reflection of the online VRBO pictures, at least superficially - very attractive with comfortable beds, and a good air cooling system, and in a great central location with good security and shops available for food purchases,
Perhaps because of its location and multiple restaurants available, most visitors might have their meals out. However, with a family of 11 including 5 grandchildren we had most of our breakfasts and dinners "at home". Unfortunately, the cooking utensils were limited (one large pot and one small pot with interchangeable handles), and there were only 5 dinner plates, although there were many bowls and small plates and glasses and eating utensils available. There were basic instructions for the appliances, but details were missing including how to turn on the induction stove and manage the washing machine and dryer.
However with Google and YouTube searches, we were able to figure out the details. As Canadians, our appliances are quite different from those in France, so if you are expecting more Canadian/North American clients, more detailed instructions would be helpful.
We did get responses most of the time from the hosts, but some of them were delayed, and thus not very helpful.
The "check-in" process was complicated by the fact that the "Sophie" mailbox was wide open and we did not see the lockbox at the back of it. Fortunately a tenant let us in and the door to the apartment was open.
Overall, a very pleasant stay.
