Clean apartment in a good location with really nice host!
The apartment was perfect for what we needed. Enough space for the two of us plus two kids and centrally located - conveniently near a metro, bus stop and grocery store. There are a few restaurants and bakeries close by too which was nice. Pascal was a wondering host and very responsive. It's located in an older building (one floor up) so not the most modern, but clean and well stocked. We'd definitely stay again.

Great property in quiet location
We had a fabulous stay at this apartment! We stayed for five nights total. Pascale was great at communicating with us as soon as we made the reservation and even blocked the night before our arrival so we could check in when we arrived early in the morning from the US. The apartment is conveniently located near good restaurants, grocery stores, and the metro. I would highly recommend this apartment for families looking for multiple bedrooms and bathrooms in a good location.

Perfect apartment!
What a gem of an apartment! So light, airy, cheerful, comfortable, and clean, and filled with the host’s mother’s beautiful artwork. We were so happy to wake up there every morning and come home to it every night. It felt more like being in the home of a dear friend than a soulless rental. The tall French windows let in loads of natural light – even on the grey November days – and we enjoyed the view day and night, looking out over a quiet street to the front, and a characteristic courtyard to the back. We slept incredibly well – helped by the comfort of brand new beds! Yes, the bathrooms are small; but that’s normal in Paris, and they had everything and worked well (and it was nice to have two, plus an extra sink in one of the bedrooms). Pascale was a delightful and considerate host, quick to respond and super helpful. And as others have said, it really is a fabulous neighbourhood – central, but still very Parisian, with easy access to great restaurants, cafés, shops, museums, small parks, several metro stops, and close to the Seine. It was a great choice, and we are already planning our return. Highly recommend!

Ideal!
The apartment is lovely, so tastefully appointed! The neighborhood has many restaurants and markets yet maintains a local feel. We enjoyed being able to walk to many museums. When needed the nearby Metro stations were convenient. Our hostess made us feel very welcome.

We loved this quaint, comfortable and cheerful flat in a convenient and safe neighborhood. The host was delightful and helpful. Wouldn’t change a thing and would definitely stay here again. Expensive but we were fine with that considering the location, size and amenities.

Perfect location!
A lovely, bright apartment in a perfect location. Clean, spacious, decorated with amazing art work. Opening windows to let the cool air in and listen to the sounds of Paris. Delicious bakery, restaurant, and small grocery store right around the corner. Within walking distance of many sights and metro stops. We look forward to returning one day soon!

Wonderful apartment!
The apartment was wonderful and met our every need! The location is great, near lots of cafes, a market and the metro, and was within walking distance to a few spots like the Louvre and the Orsay. We loved being immersed in the local Parisian life! Pascale was a wonderful host. She was gracious enough to meet us early so we could drop off our luggage before the apartment was ready which was a huge help. We were very pleased with our stay all around!

Perfect apartment!
Lovely apartment in a wonderful neighborhood, the 7th arrondisement. Restaurants, shopping, easy metro choices and some nearby sights including Rodin Museum, St Germain des Prés and Les Invalidates. Kitchen has everything you need to stay at home one night. Brand new cooling fans in the bedrooms made sleeping comfortable. The bathrooms are small but everything works well. Pascale is charming and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Great location, owner is a 5. Wonderful person and very helpful. Apartment is on the 2nd floor, but there is a small lift for luggage and 1 or 2 people at a time. Wonderful location for walking to store or restaurants of museums. Even Eiffel Tower was a 30 min walk. Subway station was a 5 minute walk. Apartment is larger enough, but the showers are a tight fit. We thought it was a little too expensive, and because of the showers and bathrooms couldn't go a 5.

Regarding the showers, I am sorry to hear that they have been a bit small for you. They have the French standards which are 120x70 and 100x70. A great Paris neighborhood!!
What a magnificent apartment. It is light & airy, filled with beautiful artwork done by the host and her mother. Everything is up to date and very clean. A great walking neighborhood with lots of shopping and restaurants. Pascale was a great communicator and responded immediately any time we contacted her. We made a good choice in choosing this for our stay in Paris.

Spacious Home in the Left Bank
We were personally greeted by the owner, followed by a detailed overview of her apartment. Pascale was charming and friendly- the property was filled with natural light in every room from the tall French windows. Both bedrooms were large and comfortable with more storage space than we could use. This property was even more spacious and lovely thank the VRBO photos presented - I am so grateful to Pascale for sharing her airy apartment which was filled with art and books & very comfortable living spaces.

Great location. Now the bad- a concierge that speaks no English and does not communicate any instruction on use of facilities. The linens were barely useable and the furniture old and uncomfortable. I would recommend anyone looking at this to consider staying somewhere else

Awesome location and experience
Of the many choices we considered for our family of four's first trip to Paris, we were especially pleased with this apartment. As other reviewers have mentioned, the Rodin and Orsay museums are easily reached by foot, as are Rue Cler and the Eiffel Tower with just slightly longer walks. A great street for feeling part of the daily rhythms of Paris as Parisiens walk to and from work and school. Took advantage (daily!) of the boulangerie right around the corner, as well as the more casual restaurants nearby. There's even a small convenience store near the bakery for drinks, juices, snacks, etc., in addition to Le Bon Marche food hall several blocks away for items of a more gourmet variety. Communication from the owner was timely and helpful, and Lucinda the concierge could not have been more friendly. Interior is well done and beds were comfortable. Would love to return.

This apartment is wonderful, and in an amazing location!
We are a family of five, and we were looking for an apartment in the 7th arrondissement with at least two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Making arrangements with Pascale was pretty easy. We arrived and were greeted by Lucinda with two keys. The apartment is an easy walk to so may great landmarks! We walked to Le Bon Marche, the Rodin, d'Orsay and the Louvre museums. There were lots of places to eat within walking distance. WiFi worked better in one end of the apartment. Our daughters shared a double bed in one bedroom, and we had the master. Our son slept in the room off the living room. The only thing that was weird is the bathroom in the master bedroom is separated by a curtain. Not much in the way of privacy. We had to buy toilet paper. The shower in the master bedroom was strong and fine. The one in the other bath was a handheld with no "stand." The sheets and towels were just okay. The beds were serviceable but not too comfortable. The pillows weren't great. I would have appreciated a few extra. I gather the the apartment is the owner's mother's, and she paints. I enjoyed the artwork all over. The electric kettle was rusty, so we didn't use it. The washing machine/dryer was a great addition and we were happy to do laundry halfway through our trip. Again, the location can't be beat. I would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful apartment in a great location!
We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The location was fantastic - close enough for us to walk everywhere. The decor was very charming and oh so Paris. The kitchen is very well equipped and Pascale is awesome. I would absolutely recommend this apartment. There is a great bakery around the corner (on Babylon) where we get great fresh breakfast at a great price. A thing to note is that the metro is about 15-20 min walk from this place - not a big deal. Also, would have loved stronger/better wifi coverage - other than that the apartment is awesome!

Charming older apartment. Great location. Good use of space.
We enjoyed our eight nights at Rue Vaneau. This charming older apartment is very centrally located and within easy walking distance to the Louve and most anywhere on the left bank. It is quiet and close to shops and several metro stops. The multiple rooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for our adult family of four. Our only complaint involves a broken shower head which had also been mentioned in previous reviews. We would recommend this apartment to others and would consider staying there again.Thank you,

Beautiful Conveniently Located Flat
Very nice conveniently located flat. We were warmly met by Lucinda and although she speaks only a little English, she was very helpful and able to clearly communicate all that we needed to know. Easy walk to Museum De Orsay and other sights. Great little bakery right around the corner. Flat is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The Internet doesn’t work well, but we weren’t in France to stay in the flat on our phones. Use Wi-Fi elsewhere to schedule any tours or purchase advance tickets. Lucinda’s daughter Madine spoke excellent English and helped to explain some information regarding the bus routes. This was the perfect place for our family of 4 (adults) to stay!

Cozy, friendly stay in Paris 7eme.
We really enjoyed our time in this cozy flat. The owner and concierge were very responsive. Everything was clean and the place was well appointed. A few insignificant issues... The second shower hardware came out of the wall when I was in there, which was alarming at the time and the coffee maker stubbornly chugged along, but was awkward. All in all, I would recommend this place. It's well located and very pleasant. You won't go wrong.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment has lovely artwork and rugs, many created by the owner's mother. It is very close to Les Invalides and the Rodin museum, and within longer walking distance of the Musee D'Orsay and the Boulevard St. Germain.

Lovely apartment in a wonderful neighborhood in Paris!
The apartment was as described and lovely in every way! We were close to restaurants and all the amazing sites of Paris. Lucinda, the apartment concierge and her daughter were extremely helpful getting us settled. I spoke with the apartment owner, Pascale, soon after we arrived. Everyone was so friendly and offered any assistance should we need it. Loved our stay in Paris!

It was great for my family of 5.
We loved the location of this apartment- close to 2 Metro stations (St Francois Xavier & Vaneau), grocery stores, restaurants, Musee D'Orsay & more. We loved this place and wished we had stayed longer. It was large and very clean and the people were very nice and helpful. With three separate bedrooms, the kids were not strangling each other. We liked the neighborhood as well. They recommended a restaurant across the street that was excellent. There was also a little grocery store around the corner. Prior to this place, we stayed a few days in the 4th Arrond. in a much much smaller place. We liked this place (and neighborhood) much better. I wish we could have stayed here longer. One last comment- the owner was in constant communications: when we rented the unit, before we left on our trip, the day of renting, and then after. He was very helpful with all the questions I had for him. We would definitely come back here.

Great apartment
This was the best place we stayed out of 4 in Europe. It was spacious and good location. Everything worked well with a well-stocked kitchen. It is sunny. The beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy. There are grocery stores, bakeries, and some restaurants near by. Keep in mind most shops and even restaurants in this neighborhood are closed on Sunday or have shorter hours. I highly recommend this apartment.

Delightful decor, convenient locationg, secure area, grocery and boulangerie nearby!
From the moment we walked in the door we felt the “Paris vibe”. Original art work knocked us out. Washer/dryer came in handy; du Monde around the corner supplied us with breakfast and some quick evening food. The Express a bit further down the block was handy for staples. And pharmacy also came in handy. Three Metro stations were a short walk, as well as Musée Armee. A bit longer walk found us at Tour Eiffel day and night. Felt safe in the neighborhood, We are two active seniors with college-age granddaughters who were delighted not to have to share a room. The umbrella came in handy! Concierge Lucinda was available to help us. Books about Paris helped us. I definitely recommend this apartment to others! Paris vibe, convenience and economy...who could ask for more!

Spacious, comfortable, fantastic location!
With all the neighborhood activity we felt like locals staying here. A convenient walk to grocery stores, great shops, bakeries, museums, galleries, parks, cafes and metro stations but quiet enough to feel like we were away from all the traffic and crowds. The apartment has a great combination of antiques and modern decor and is full of the owner's lively abstract paintings and large collection of books on art and artists, all providing a very authentic Parisian experience. We had everything we needed: a well-stocked kitchen, new appliances, plenty of towels, WiFi, TV, etc. Pascale was a gracious host, quick to respond, and deserves our highest recommendation!

Spacious for 5 guests. Good location.
You should offer a medium comment between Loved it! & Not really. There were several issues that should be addressed. The kitchen faucet was broken-totally detached! The small bathroom shower had a problem & the instructions for the washer/dryer were not available in English.Our clothes never dried. The largest bath should really have a door for privacy & something inside the shower to hold soap, etc. Because the manager did not speak English, we were never able to contact the owner thru her & the owner didn't answer our e-mails saying that we had NO wireless & NO tv! Two of the renters are tech savvy but the code, etc. never worked. Also, because it was exceedingly hot, it would be nice to have a couple of fans to be used .

Good and Bad
First the Good--I will start off by saying we had a wonderful trip in France. We had four people and there was plenty of room for all of us. The flat was clean and we felt very secure. There are two locking doors before you get to door to the flat itself It is very close to a Metro station and several attractions. The walls covered by original artwork. The unit has two bathrooms, each with a shower. Now the bad--During the middle of our stay, we returned to the flat at about 10 PM and found that most of the electric didn't work, including the wall outlets and the large majority of the lights. My son called Pascale and asked if we could have the on site manager respond to help us (that we were assured could be reached for any problem). Pascale said the manager would not be responding. Pascale said that there was nothing she could do she would not be able to respond until the next morning and said she had a problem with the electric previously but apparently was never fixed. She recommended that we use candles and asked us to look in the fuse box. My son noticed one of the switches was broken. She recommended sticking a knife in the fuse box to try to move the broken fuse lever. While we are no electricians and did not want to end up in a hospital in France on vacation we declined that offer. She said she would come the next morning. My son told her we were not happy and she asked if we wanted to find someplace else to stay. Certainly not an option at 10PM. He told her that her response was simply not acceptable. As a result we could not charge any of our cell phones and had to use bathrooms in the dark, with no hot water for showers. We had no use of our cell phones or cameras the next day as our batteries were dead. My son asked her for some kind of compensation and she said we could talk about it after. We left one of our party behind the next morning. Pascale arrived and fixed the electric problem. Pascale blamed us for using too much electric-which was interesting as we had not been at the flat since early in the morning. After leaving, we contacted Pascale about the issue, she replied that we got our deposit back and that would be sufficient. Before anyone rents this in the future, check to see if the electric problem is fixed. We had debated before leaving about getting a hotel instead of a flat. We decided on a flat. If this issue occurred in a hotel, if would have been fixed or we would have received some compensation.

Reponse ABRITEL Thank you for all positives notices. It was a pleasure to receive such a nice family , their daughter was cute and open to art in general. I enjoy they have done a lot of visits in Paris. they did not know ( because I did not say ) the main electricity can switch off when there is a foreign appliance added to electricity . Or may be it came from an other raison . Yes you have used candles if there was no electricity at all but it was not the case. The botton commanding the half is repared . So what was no more problem . As what it was said the electricity was off at 10 pm and on again thanks to a feminin hand : the owner. Please note that our plugs can not take foreign electric plugs. By the way a precision , when you walk straight in our street to the seine, you have the musee d Orsay, it is worth to cross the river and spend a while in the garden of the Tuileries. The Louvre on your right, the Arc de Triomphe on your Left.

Comfortable apartment and great location!
We enjoyed staying in this apartment very much. We were there 4 nights and our teenage kids loved "living in a Paris apartment." It was extremely clean, well stocked with linens and kitchen items, and the on-site manager was very nice and always available. We were given the owners cell number and could call her for anything we needed also. It is in a quiet neighborhood with several restaurants/cafes right around the corner, a bank/ATM down the street, and even a drug store on the corner. We recommend this location highly!
