"Food is good, breakfast lovely, staff very helpful, bar is nicely set up, gym also very good. My room though, on the ground floor of what I assume is the older side, needs some tlc. Bathroom furniture need sorting out/screws tightened etc, shower leaked on the floor, door needs to be renewed."

"Clean and tidy, excellent location and beautiful views."

"The Jug & Bottle is a really well run establishment. Attention to detail in all things they do is a joy to experience. Our room was very well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choices and high quality. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Our evening meal could not be bettered. The menu was varied with a wide range of choices and the wine list excellent. Delicious food and wine and very good value as indeed was the cost of our two night stay....

"Generally very good. We didn’t like the refresh my room system if you stay more than one night. Receptionists Sunday and Monday evening were great and helpful and friendly. Sunday evening lady went the extra mile. Thank you Monday morning receptionists not so helpful and friendly"

"Beautiful location with the stream running in front. Located in a quaint village - it was lovely and quiet! Room was lovely and very spacious and breakfast was delicious. About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. Sian and the cleaner (so sorry I forgot her name!) we're extremely friendly and helpful, even gave me access to their mobile hot-spot and helped with local attraction advice.
