Beautiful home close to pool & beach, close to The Big Chill

  • This home has been updated with new paint on Exterior and interior throughout. Bathrooms have been updated. New TV's have been installed along with a few other personal touches. Come and relax in our spacious beach house that is conveniently located across the street from the community pool. The beautiful emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico are a quick 2-3 minute walk.

    ***Please note that Magnolia Cottages has deeded access to the beach but you will need to walk to the public beach to the right or left of the walkover. If you decide to rent chairs from the vendor you can then sit there with as many people you have in your party***

    This home offers you serenity and peace, while only a short drive to terrific shopping, restaurants and other attractions. Our home is located just off 30-A (north of the Gulf) and is situated near the communities of Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, Seacrest Beach, Watersound and Seaside. Going to Destin is a 25-minute drive to the west, and Panama City is a 25 minute drive to the east.

    The home features a large open living area with a 50-inch smart HDTV with DVR. Youtube TV is provided throughout the home. High Speed Internet with Wifi is provided. Stainless Steel appliances, Quartz counter tops, and custom cabinetry make the kitchen a great place to prepare a quick meal or to entertain family and friends. The eating area includes a table for 6 people and a bar for 3 people. In addition, you may catch the sunrise or sunset while enjoying the outdoor dining table and chairs on a porch just off the great room.

    Rest and relaxation is discovered in the three bedroom suites (2 Queens and 1 Twin set) each with its own bathroom and flat screen LCD TV. All 3 bedrooms have 43" Flat Screen TV's. An additional special feature that makes this home unique, is the bunk area, which contains one set of built in bunk beds. Finally, two of the three bedrooms have an IPOD/I-Phone clock radio with charging station. There is also one located in the great room upstairs.

    You will enjoy all of the comforts of home in our beach cottage. The close proximity to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and pool are just bonuses. Finally, for your peace of mind, our property manager is located within minutes of the home.

Perfect for a family of teens!

Beautiful cottage get away

Amazing house just steps from the beautiful beach!

This amazing house was perfect for a week long getaway to the most beautiful beaches in the souther US. The house was immaculate and the location was perfect being just a few steps from the beach and a pool. 10/10 would stay here again!

Family tradition

We started staying in magnolia cottages for Thanksgiving week and summer break 8 years ago. We really enjoyed this year at Blue Skies. Close walk to beach. Clean home with plenty of beds, linens, and cookware. Exactly as advertised. Will definitely book again in the future.

Hard to beat!

I had two homes. Both were very clean. no maintenance problems, everything seemed to be working properly, 5 minute walk to the beach, really can't come up with even one complaint. Highly recommend.

Lovely

The location, amenities, and property were exactly what we were looking for. The property was perfect for our family of 5. Outside the crowds right at Rosemary/Seacrest/Alys while being walkable and bikeable to East and west communities. We also enjoyed the access to a private beach where we did not have to fight for a spot during spring break. Another bonus was the majority of renters in this area were families. We felt confident letting our 3 kids go back and forth to the house without us.

Location

Beach access was just a few minutes away!! Easy to get in and out of neighborhood. Neighborhood was extremely quiet. The pool temperature was amazing. The weather was a little chill. So perfect to sit on the beach then was off and head to the pool!! Great home!! Fabulous location to Seacrest, Alys, and Rosemary!Home had everything I needed and more for my family of 6! Second home stayed at in this neighborhood and will continue to stay!!

Great Location, Great Cottage, Great Stay!

I stayed with my wife and two kids. Magnolia Cottages are in a quiet location right across from the beach. We had access to the pool and beach was 5 min walk away. Property was well kept and property manager was prompt to reply to a couple questions we had. We enjoyed renting bikes and exploring the area and then grilling out on the charcoal Webber. Grocery store close by and great location for our family. Each bedroom had its own bathroom plus a half bath upstairs as well so this made getting ready a snap and save a lot of time. We’ll seriously consider again for our next visit.

Beautiful home in Seacrest

We come to the 30A area often, and this might be our favorite house we’ve rented! It’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We typically try to stay on the beach side because of the accessibility with kids. The walk to the beach from this house is very easy, and this is with two toddlers and a 5 year old. Keep in mind you do have to come down a large dune, so be prepared for a lot of steps. The home is nicely decorated and comfortable. It was well stocked. All of the bedrooms are located on the first floor with the living and kitchen upstairs. The home had plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. We will definitely rent again!

Beautiful spacious cottage

We enjoyed our stay except for one misleading benefit. We were told we had PRIVATE beach access. When you get down to the beach you are quickly pushed down to the crowded public beach. I have stayed in Magnolia Cottages for several years and have always had PRIVATE beach access. That’s been a big draw for me coming back year after year. Not sure I will be returning because of this BIG change. It really left me with negative overall experience. LOVE the area, quaint cottages and family atmosphere. That needs to be communicated appropriately.

Quick spring break

The property was great, nicely laid out and well furnished. Only issue and a minor one was the fan in the guest bedroom with two twin beds did not work. Either due to mechanical issues, but I think it was battery in remote. Otherwise great, close to everything we love to do. Pool diagonally across street and beach access directly across the road! Last thing I will say and I think it’s an area issue and not the unit but cell reception (Verizon?) was absolutely terrible and quite the challenge in house, parking apps, and in shops and restaurants. 30A needs to step up their infrastructural! Would easily stay here again. Thanks

Perfect Location...

The house was just as described. It was VERY hot in Florida (we come every year) with over 90% humidity at times. The home did get warm (top floor) during the day but cooled down at night. Homeowner was very responsive when we called questioning if it was something we were doing. He came by while we were out and checked everything to make sure everything was as it should be and was able to adjust the speed on the extremely high ceiling fan. That helped a lot. We would keep the drapes closed during the hottest part of the day as well and kept all shades/drapes closed on bottom floor as well. This kept the house cool. Having TVs in all the rooms was a bonus. We only got rain once while we were here, YAY! The neighborhood is quiet with only families or well behaved adults. There were no issues at all, which I cannot say for some places we have stayed. There is a light going up at Watersound Parkway so we dealt with a LOT of traffic going into Rosemary, opposite end of Seaside. Grocery shop and make lunches. Restaurants were all on an hour or longer wait. One suggestion...there is a motion light at the back entrance but it did not always work and it is VERY DARK in the evenings. Great for sleep but dangerous coming in late.

Perfect spot on 30A!

This house was perfect for our family. The layout worked well for us, and there was more than enough space for our group of five. The communication with the property manager was quick and friendly. We especially appreciated the prompt response after I accidentally broke the glass coffee pot; a new one was brought to us the next morning! The home is lovely and the location is just what we wanted. It is biking distance to the popular spots, but not in the middle of the crowd. We enjoyed cooking in on most nights. The kitchen and dining area was well suited for that. We had a wonderful time!!!

Perfect place for the family!

The property was in a great location with a short walk to the beach and very close to the property pool. The house had everything that we needed, was clean, and had more than enough space for a family of five. Very close drive to Rosemary Beach although it would be a long walk. Overall, we loved it and would stay here again!

Our stay was great. Th house was wonderful. Very close walk to the beach and strategically located on 30A. The property manager was extremely responsive when a couple of small issues developed. we'd be happy to re-visit!
