  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Location great. We wanted aDog friendly place to stay. Communicated before trip about taking dogs to beach and we’re not told dogs couldn’t be on beach. We were ticketed and found out the hard way. Place had a scent of mold/mildew. Mold visable in bath room cabinet. A few things broken and run down but overall it was fairly clean. Communication with landlord was good. Propane tank for fire pit empty and no extra toilet paper but otherwise it was good. Beds comfy.

The stay was an overall 5 but with some 4-star amenities. For sure, the home offers a beautiful view on the beach— the best access to the beach and a very accommodating patio with fire pit and grill(s) as the pics display. Also love the street location of the property to the surrounding food/shopping options too. We really enjoyed the separate sunroom to give us adults some privacy from the kiddos when needed as well. We were able to make some good meals in the well equipped kitchen too. I would say the 4-star portion would be the small bathrooms (master very small) and some worn furniture pieces/lamps that didn’t quite meet our expectations with a home in this category and could be updated. Overall, it’s a very cozy style cottage home that we would stay at again.

Oleander Drive never disappoints. This house was no exception. Perfect beach house, perfect location. Also a plus, great parking for those of us with bigger vehicles. Property manager was a text a way. We will definitely rent this house again

Family at the beach

It was a good stay for the most part. The weather could have been a bit warmer. The house was nice and clean, however somewhat tired. The first night one of the outer bedrooms took on quite a bit of water. Waking up and planting your feet in a puddle of very cold water is a shock to the system. Management sent someone to vacuum the water up. Windows in the Florida room are weather worn to the point that the plastic frames are so broken and fragile that they can't be opened, and had no screens. Master bath toilet and seat loose, rocking some, and the old wood seats white finish is showing the raw wood in some places. Overall a nice little house that was very clean and ready for guests. It just needs a few things detailed and updated. We enjoyed our stay visiting with local family members that stayed with us at the beach house.

A great cottage

We had a wonderful time at the Outlook. We had a Chesapeake Bay retriever with us. We all loved walking the beach and touring around the strand of communities to the west. What a beautiful setting. The house is cozy, comfortable, and has a great back patio, less than 50 feet from the beach itself. What more could you ask for? I look forward to staying there again. I’d recommend it to anybody.

Wonderful Oleander Dr Cottage

The house is as advertised with plenty of room and views to die for. The fire pit was put to good use and was a pleasant surprise. Leasing agency was great to work with and coordinated with CondoCierge for our grocery delivery. The rooms were very clean and there were plenty of extra sheets and towels for our group. Will definitely refer friends to this property and stay there again.

Great location!

This property is by far the best in location. We could walk for shopping, restaurants and not to mention the beach was not crowded right outside of our back door. There were beach toys and a tent for the little ones located in the laundry room which we left and added too. There was plenty of room in the house especially with the two rooms located out of the main property. One of the rooms has a very small walk in shower in the main house so we advise a more muscular individual would have a hard time fitting but some of the other rooms are more equipped to accommodate. The grill is a propane not charcoal, we hit some confusion in communication but the staff corrected it right away!

Great old-school beach house right on the beach & convenient to everything.

We took my 90 yr old mother right back to the strip of houses she remembered staying at in the 70's. It was awesome! Steps away from the sand, beautiful sunsets, and sitting at the firepit in the evenings. Aaahh...fun times!!

Great views!

This place was perfect for our multiple families. Clean space and comfy beds. Beautiful views of the beach that is just steps away. The outside fire pit was a great way to end the night. Make sure to bring your own beach chairs. The rental agency was very responsive with any questions we had. My only wish was the rental week could be Friday to Friday or allow the last minute purchase of extra days (in the event that it hasn’t already been rented the week before or after). Overall we loved the place!
