The house was perfect! It was well decorated and offered everything we needed. It was close in location to the pool, the entertainment area and the beach access walkway. I can’t say enough good things about the house!

Spring Break 2025

Property was fantastic! All of the amenities provided everything we needed. The house itself had everything. The Seacrest Beach community staff was so very nice. Any questions during our stay was so timely addressed by our Host (30A Sea Story). Great trip!

Needs Repair

Overall I had to rate this lower simply because the water heater does not work properly. For a 6 night stay we couldn’t take 1 hot shower. I assumed it’s because we had 7 people and maybe we were just running through it but no there is definitely something wrong here. This unit is in a nice location but the water heater HAS to get fixed before it is rented again. For what you pay a hot shower shouldn’t even be a problem to have here. That part was a huge let down. Streaming tv in the living room can only be worked with the remote labeled for the master just fyi.

Sibling Gathering

My brother, sisters and I met all together for the first time in over 10 years. The house was perfect for us. Lots of space, great kitchen, no bunk beds, awesome location and a perfect screened in front porch. Everyone agreed that we could not have found a better place than this lovely home.

Awesome family property

Very prompt communication with owner. Only issue was with internet and a technician came out and worked on it. Service still was off and on. Awesome screened front porch with fans so staying outside was very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen with utensils, pots, pans, spices, etc. Very helpful. Even a crockpot! Very large family gathering room so wonderful for a large group. TVs in all rooms. Excellent choice and close to pool and the “circle” of shops. Property has 4 good bikes.

Great rental

Very spacious, great location. Comfortable furnishings. Enjoyed the screened in front porch, we kept towels and beach bags out there and that kept the sand out of the house.

Great property - close to both beach and pool

Spent 6 nights at coastal brakes with four adults and two children (ages 2 and 4). Property was very close to both the beach and pool (awesome, resort-style). Had a blast - thank you!

Really nice, one story house n great location.

Our third time to Seacrest Beach. This is a nice, well equipped one story house. It is a short walk to the pool and a tram stop is only one house away. We enjoyed our time there!

August 2020 Stay

Everything was great. Love Coastal Brakes. Nice decor and comfy beds. We took advantage of lots of activities even with the pandemic. Beach, pool, Tennis, bikeriding,shopping with a mask, charter fishing trip. Maybe next time we'll be able to try the restaurants. Oversee has great service and was accomodating.

My favorite part was the big screened in porch. Not many like they one. My only complaint is the reserved beach area that is for the community is way too small. We had to drive or ride our bikes over to the public beach. Less crowded there. Would definitely come back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice relaxing vacation. The house was perfect for what we were looking for with 6 people and had plenty of space. More than enough kitchen items to cook, etc. Loved the outdoor screened porch; nice for coffee in the morning and having lunch on the table outside. Great location close to the pool, on the beach shuttle route and 7 minute walk to the beach. A few minute walk/bike ride to a few restaurants and ice cream. We had 2 issues during the stay: the door code stopped working and could not get into the house and it was raining. Oversee had someone out with a key in 45 minutes. The outside grill ignitor did not work but Oversee replaced the entire grill with a new one within a day. Great response. The area in general has few restaurants per capita of people, so go early or late to avoid long waits. Donut Hole and Big Bad Breakfast were great for breakfast. We cooked in a few times which was nice. The 3/4 bikes provided were nice and convenient, we rented 3 more bikes from Peddlers 30A; they delivered and picked up.

A Perfect Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned from a fabulous week at Coastal Brakes. Our family of 6 (2 teens and 4 adults) had plenty of space to spread out. We also enjoyed the common areas, especially the screened in porch. The close proximity to the pool was a huge plus! We took lots of walks to neighboring Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. We would definitely stay here again! We had two small issues during our stay. One was with the AC which kept tripping. Oversee was quick to send a technician (even at 9pm). The second issue was that the bikes were not in great shape. I contacted the bike rental company and they were replaced almost immediately! I was very impressed with Oversee’s communication and process and would highly recommend using them in the future!

Great Location & Home

This was a spacious and cozy house that by design encouraged social gathering! We had a truly great time here and everyone had a spot to relax. We loved biking the town and enjoying the local restraints & breweries!

Rosemary Beach Tennis Trip

We had a wonderful stay at Coastal Brakes for our annual girl's tennis trip at the beach. We were 6 ladies and the house was perfect! We had plenty of towels, space to spread out, beds were extremely comfortable, and we loved that it was one level - no stairs to climb! It rained a good bit of the time we stayed so we had plenty of time to use the screened porch. It was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy coffee, wine, games, and friendly chatter with friends! We'll definitely stay again!
