We arrived Friday evening to find the house in acceptable but not the cleanest condition, which was fine for our group of 18. However, several issues immediately stood out: no batteries in the smoke detector, a non-working grill and patio lights, and a loose garage door handle. The downstairs shower handle also felt like it was about to fall off. The most distressing incident occurred on Saturday evening when my daughter fell down the stairs due to a loose railing, resulting in a displaced mid clavicle fracture. This severely affected our week as she needed constant assistance and couldn’t swim with her injured arm. She will need 4 weeks to heal, impacting our personal lives further. Upon inspection, we found three more loose railings and microbial growth around the vent in the upstairs half bathroom. While I understand the house has high turnover during summer, it’s the owner’s responsibility to maintain the property for each guest. The overall condition of the house was disappointing. We paid for a beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood, expecting a wonderful experience, but it turned into a nightmare. Management sent someone to check on my daughter, but their response felt insincere and dismissive. I would not recommend staying at this house if you have children.

We had an amazing time -- the property was beautiful, very well appointed, and so spacious. The location was perfect and we didn't want for a thing. The multiple living areas made it perfect for us and our group of teens. We had an issue with the hot water and the property management company was on it immediately and had it fixed pronto. We would absolutely come back!

I can not say enough nice things about this property and it’s owner, DeWitt. First of all, DeWitt is the nicest man and was very helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. He checked in regularly to see if we needed anything and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable. His home was immaculate! Clean, modern, comfy... everything. The beds are cozy, the rooms are huge, the views are fantastic, and the location is PRIME! Just a short walk from the beach, or if you don’t want to walk, the tram stop is literally steps from the front door. The community pool is just a few houses down, too. We also brought 3 toddlers and the bunk room was awesome for them. It was all just perfection and I can’t think of a single thing that would have made it better! Thank you, DeWitt! You were wonderful and your home was everything we needed and more!

It was an awesome rental, large rooms, great bunk beds (two of the eight were extra long), two well stocked kitchens with extras like (foil, glad wrap, paper towel, plastic containers ), great decks on each floor, very clean, close to everything (pools, beach, restaurants). Our experience was a ten plus.

We could not have been more impressed with this home. Our family, which included two sets of parents, seven children, and two friends, absolutely loved the place. It was immaculate, incredibly comfortable, and located close to the beach and pool. The two kitchens and living rooms were awesome. Yet, we spent more time on the second floor deck than anywhere in the home. It will be a home that we will return to in the coming years. Lastly, the owner is very responsive, down to earth and quite approachable. Probably the best I’ve ever experienced. In all, if you have a large family, or need space, and you want to be close to the beach and pool. This is your place.

This house is fantastic. We all agreed that this house was far better than any other house rental we’ve done (and together we've done many). It’s large, beautiful, clean, well appointed and no expense has been spared for comfort. You will not feel like you are at a rental property. The house is very well appointed (Keurig’s and coffee pots, hampers, bathrobes, USB outlets in the bedrooms, ice machines, wine fridge, all you need to cook, laundry, beach gear, etc). DeWitt was easy to work with, friendly and helpful. We even got to peek at his other (brand new) house right down the street during our stay. We had one tiny "issue" (we were short a few beach towels) and DeWitt delivered them 10 minutes after I asked. I highly recommend this house for anyone. We had 7 adults and 7 children and we never felt crowded. There’s a ton of space. So much that we didn’t discover the 8th bathroom until our last day! The kids loved the bunk room. Seacrest Beach is very family friendly and walk-able to everything. We didn’t use the car much. The beach is a 5 minute walk (or tram ride) and the pool is a one minute walk. Seacrest is a beautiful area. If you are looking for a great place, definitely give this house a try.

We had an amazing week! Seacrest is such a great place for famlies. Beautiful beaches, good food, kids road bikes everywhere! Family Traditions is an amazing house. We had four families, with a total of 7 kids. The bunk room was a hit even with the teens. Each couple had their own bedroom with a bathroom. Lots of outdoor space and two kitchens (which might have been my favorite part!) With our families it was great to have two refrigerators! We had beach service for some of the days, but with the chairs and umbrella that were at the house you didn’t necessarily need it. Dewitt was great! Texted me to let the house was ready a little early, and had a leaky sink fixed quickly! The tram was great to get to the beach, but we walked most days as it was close!!!

The house was beautiful, clean, great amenities and plenty of towels - the kids bunk beds were amazingly soft! Plenty of space for our 9 adults and 5 kids. Three separate families with grandparents so it was nice to have the two kitchens and living areas for the different hours that were kept. 2 garage spaces and 3 extra street space parking in front and back. The community pool is huge and an easy walk from the house. There were 6 bikes with the house which was great to have, Alys and Rosemary are so easy to get to on bike just a few minute ride. The house had 10 beach chairs, beach towels, and 2 boogie boards / sand toys. The tram was super timely whenever called and easy to haul. Wish the tram would have had earlier access hours before 9am. Nothing with wheels allowed through the security gate so we couldn't haul our beach wagon with chairs/bags/coolers down before the tram started and it is quite a walk. The deeded beach with the house was extremely crowded and small. Was happy to have 2 days of chairs and umbrellas included in the rental, but we ended up going to the public beach to escape the crowds a couple days. Secure your chair/umbrella rental weeks ahead if you want front row access or to see the ocean from your chair or you will be 5 rows deep.

We had four families plus a babysitter with us on our stay. Nine adults, one child around 4 yrs old and four children under 3 yrs. Family Traditions slept everyone very comfortably. With the two kitchens it was easy for everyone to cook at their leisure. The large decks provided outdoor space to lounge. When the kids went to bed the adults took to the second floor deck which kept from disturbing the little ones. Fantastic! With walking distance to the very large community pool, shops, restaurants, common area of Seacrest or Rosemary Beach and a quick tram ride to the beach this made for a perfect spot with a large group. The garage was big enough to put 2 out of the 4 vehicles in along with all of our beach chairs, strollers, wagons and umbrellas. The house came with beach chairs and umbrellas so leave your's at home! DeWitt communicated with us upon arrival and then at check out. We felt as if we need anything then he would oblige. We had a blast and will be back very soon hopefully!

Our party of 14 just returned from a truly wonderful week staying in Family Traditions and cannot speak highly enough about the house, the location, or the owner. The house is beautifully decorated and designed, and easily accommodated our large party, with plenty of space to spare! The house is fully stocked with everything you could want or need, including bikes, beach chairs, beach towels, games, kitchen and household products and many other amenities that are not often provided. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The children in our party loved the bunk room, though it's worth noting that there is no door to close off the bunk room. It was not a problem for us thanks to sound machines, but it's not discernible from the pictures online. Dewitt was wonderful to work with and incredibly accommodating. The location could not be more ideal - 1-2 minute walk to the amazing pool and a short 5-8 minute walk to the beach. We also used the tram service to the beach, which was wonderful and there are multiple tram stops mere feet from the house. We enjoyed the 10 minute walk to nearby Alys and Rosemary, and the 5 minute walk to Peddlers Pavilion as well. The location was truly perfect. We can't wait to return!

Family traditional is an absolutely gorgeous well designed and planned home. We stayed here over spring break to celebrate our mother’s 70 birthday celebration with 3 families total of 14 people. The home far exceed our expectations and is even more beautiful in person. Every aspect of the design was incredibly thoughtful as well as the attention to a being very clean and high quality on bedding sheets and furnishings. A few features we enjoyed: 5 King bedrooms and en suites with bathrooms, 8 bunk beds for the kids....everyone has their own space....we loved having two kitchens! Multiple porches and then Alexa which was fun for all of us to request songs.....the location is perfect between Rosemary Beach and Alys...easy walk to the ocean and the owner DeWitt has supply bikes and two day chair rental at the beach. Thank you for an amazing week to celebrate our mother ‘s special week that we will remember for many years to come....we will be back soon!

We had the pleasure of staying in "Family Traditions" last week (10/7-10/14). To say that Mr. Draper was accommodating would be an understatement. He was easy to work with when initially deciding on a vacation rental and always answered questions promptly. I was set to arrive during the middle of a hurricane and Mr. Draper graciously allowed me to come the night before the storm, free of charge, in order to ensure my family's safety. There were 4 families (6 adults and 7 tweens) that stayed in this home. It had plenty of space to accommodate everyone comfortably. Each adult/couple had a master suite and the children all shared the bunk room. There were two entirely separate living spaces that allowed the adults to relax and the children to hang out without disruption. Mr. Draper's taste is impeccable as noted in the home's décor. Every detail was thought of and the furnishing and high end touches made this home a statement piece. Though the décor was "high end" it was still extremely inviting and comfortable for both adults and children. Some wonderful features included having 6 beach bikes for us to ride, as well as beach chairs and beach towels at our disposal. This saved a lot of room in our cars for other luggage. The home came with trash bags, toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent along with small toiletries in each bathroom. We needed to buy a few additional supplies but the amount left was very generous and extremely helpful to have prior to our shopping. The tram was very helpful in shuttling us to and from the beach (you can walk, but it can be challenging when you have a bunch to carry). The pool was large, yet inviting and the entire neighborhood was beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the village for eating and shopping, which is a short walk/bike ride from the home. I can't say enough great things about the owner, Mr. Draper, or the home. We all agreed that we would love to continue to do business with Mr. Draper for our future vacations.

We just got back from staying at "Family Traditions" in RoseMary Beach with 4 families total staying in this beautiful home. We had a total of 14 people and were never crowded!! The 2 fully stocked kitchens were fabulous!! There were multiple washer/dryer units, refrigerators, tvs, blow dryers, etc!! It really was like staying at a first class resort!! The beds were very comfortable, the location is great, the appliances were top notch!! The decor is stunning!! I just cannot say enough about this house!!! It was worth every penny we spent!! The owner had bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, etc!! DeWitt Draper, the owner, has thought of every little detail and that is what makes it like staying in a resort!! We also had a great experience with DeWitt. He was so accommodating and makes sure you have everything you need before you even get there!! We just cannot say enough about this wonderful house!! Thank you for making our vacation the best ever!!
