Let me first start out by stating the view was breathtaking! It was located on the 8th floor just right of the pool. The Summit had people come in and play guitar and sing, karaoke, and DJ on different nights on the pool deck throughout our stay. It was nice being able to see and hear from our balcony. The tiki bar and restaurant connected to the summit was great. Not having to worry about going out to get food or drinks was the best. However, the room itself needs updating. There was black on the ceiling in the bathrooms, paint coming off walls, and the toilet seat was not even attached to the toilet. After making several calls, someone came from maintenance on our second day to fix it. The room really needed to be cleaned a bit better. The mirror lining the hallway still had handprints on it and the floors were definitely not swept well. When we moved the couch back to fix the bed, there was a ton of food crumbs under it and around/under chairs. You can tell it was a quick clean/turn around cleaning job. Upon leaving, they ask you to strip the beds and pillowcases. That’s when we noticed the mattress cover was absolutely filthy. The pullout couch mattress needed replaced terribly. It was completely ripped and falling apart. Under the bathroom towels, there was still check-in paperwork from a previous guest and inside the decorative decor my daughter found fake eyelashes. Besides the minor cleaning/maintenance issues, the room was equipped with everything you would need.

Fun place to stay!

Unit needed a bit upgraded but I enjoyed the property! The employees working the chair/umbrella rentals were AWESOME!!!

It was ok

The room was ok. I think for the price there could be updates and switches that were loose replaced. My biggest problem was the bathroom pictures don’t show that when you try to close the pocket door between the bathrooms that there is a big whole cut out where the handle was. It was hard to pull closed to section off the two bathrooms. Might as well just be a single bathroom with 2 toilets. I hope they get that fixed.

We were disappointed that the pool closed at 7:30. Instead of 11 like it usually does. The condo does need to furnish the kitchen better.

Love the Summit

I have stayed at the Summit many times, the first time for this unit. They are all pretty much the same layout. I love the fact this unit has a washer and dryer as well extra blankets. It was clean and well-decorated. Check-in and out was seamless.

Dirty with roaches

We arrived security was nice. Went to office gentlemen was rude. We opened our unit furniture and condo furniture was nice looked like pictures. However upon unpacking and checking out condo we found roaches crawling on the walls In the living room they were small so we didn’t think much of it. Then when we laid out the sofa bed they came crawling out in numbers. We had them crawling even in our shower which I took pictures of and a video showing they were live. I think the condo was clean as a unit but was infested due to a couple of buildings being vacant beside this condo due to a previous hurricane. But over all we swept and killed roaches the whole trip as well as cleaned unit. The other bad part is the elevator was a nightmare. 4 elevators and 2 were never working . Wait times were up to 20 min just to get an elevator. So I would not stay here again.

Zero communication and accountability for the safety of their guests

Property not cleaned thoroughly. Bed sheets were not even changed. The worst part is safety. They allowed someone in our room without our knowledge. We found out that they keep all door codes in this building the exact same! They lied to us when we asked them about it. They would not consider changing our code for us. They completely ignored us after our first call. Zero accountability. It is despicable. Do Not Stay Here. Do not rent from Emerald Coast Destination Inc (ECDI) period

Dirty, cockroaches and terrible customer service

We rented a condo from them for 2 weeks. When we arrived, the refrigerator had dozens of dead and alive cockroaches. The coffee pot also contained one. We emailed them the pictures and they sent someone out to spray, but we had to clean it up ourselves. The next day, the ceiling starts leaking water in the kitchen and on the bed in the master bedroom. I called the emergency number and spoke to a girl about my concerns of the continued cockroaches making their way into the fridge and the wet bed. She promised she would talk to her manager and call me back. I never heard back, so I called back and left 3 voicemails. Still no response. While the leaks stopped, the cockroaches kept coming. They were also in the dishwasher and every cabinet/drawer! One ended up in my 3 year old’s shoe even!! Additional emails and calls went unanswered so we ended up leaving early. Avoid renting from this company. I know I will in the future. 18 years of coming to PCB and I have never met such terrible customer service or so many cockroaches!!

Spring break

We went on spring break we always go during summer .there were shootings almost every night. The spring breakers were just a little out of control this year. The summer is a great place I would continue to stay there just not going on spring break

Nice place

The unit was supposed to have a washer and dryer but did not. Owner never got back to me about this issue. Needed batteries but the front desk wouldn't help us so we had to call the original place we booked through. Overall the property was nice and we had a great time. The extra 20 to park was crazy though with the price we paid for our room and the desk people couldn't help with nothing.

Very Nice

The location was perfect. First time ever visiting, the view from the balcony was beautiful. The condo was ok, my only complaint would be the shower glass, I was scared everytime anyone would shower for the fear that it would fall. The hinges on the bottom kept falling out. It was very rusty. Other than that it was great.

Condo was dirty . Cleaning lady was leaving as we arrived - and it was not clean . I ended up having to go buy cleaning supplies to clean before we could unpack . There were lots of broken things or things that need attention in the condo. I reported all to the emerald destination email as instructed. The freezer did not keep our food frozen the first half of the week. I left a voice Mail on the Maintance line but never heard back . I ended up throwing quite a bit of food out :( The freezer started working on Thursday and was working fine when we left Saturday morning . Other than the cleanliness - the unit was decent :) loved the location and view .

Extremely dirty ‘staff rude ‘ pool crowded ‘ trash everywhere. ’ elevators broken

We checked in later on in the afternoon. Room was extremely dirty. There was so much sand on the laminate floors . The mirrors on entrance were dirty with hand prints from food , chocolate who knows what . Every glass surface was dirty . The ceiling fans were on ‘ when we turned them off there was 3inches of dirt and crap on them . The sheets were stained and the bedding smelled funky . To top it off someone took a dump and didn’t flush . This was a horrific experience. We had to make a trip to Walmart ASAP to buy cleaning supplies to clean the room . We didn’t want to ruin experience for our kids . I can’t believe that absolutely nothing was cleaned ! The patio had sand and trash all over it . Worst experience ever ! The elevators are a nightmare on the property’ we waited for 2 hours to get down this morning. The entire stay one of the elevators were down or someone threw up . Will be posting pictures and videos of the check on YouTube for review . Spending this amount of money for less than 2 stars . Even more alarming the entire floor had the same key code and people would randomly walk into your unit.

Its was good

Everything was good other than the fire alarms going off and they couldn't get them to turn off and the elevator were terrible and stayed tore up most of the time
