This unit was clean with a great location but was not well stocked or above and beyond welcoming. However, that's to be expected in an area with a high rental volume. My main complaint was the check in process. When I booked this unit, I told the manager/host we would be staying here on our wedding night before heading out on our honeymoon. Obviously, this indicates a late check in. We were never notified that the gate would be unmanned past a certain time, and I didn't notice we weren't given a gate access code in our instructions. On the night of our wedding, we sat at the gate for over an hour. No attendant, no response from the host, and no alternative method of entry. The posted sign instructed us to call a number, the line was dead. The alternative phone number was the Sheriff's Department, who said it would be over an hour and even then they didn't know what they could do for us. I then repeatedly called the listed host number and we were finally let in with an app after having our calls sent to voicemail over and over. It was only 10 PM when we arrived. I am disappointed in the service and check in instructions. I understand a gated community, but either give a guest code or man the gate. It's not that hard. The refusal to give out a gate code at a property guests are paying to rent is absurd. We should have been notified beforehand and we could have made arrangements.
