Fantastic property and location, extremely aggravating property management experience.

The house and location are perfect. Absolutely nothing to complain about on that front. It was clean and tidy, the Watersound community is great. Maybe some wear and tear that you'd expect in a house that's a few years old, but it was totally fine. However, the check-in process was a nightmare. I was standing in the pouring rain late on a Friday night with kids screaming in the car as I tried to figure out what the door code was to get in. Apparently there was one email that provided a link to an ID verification that was sent 5 months earlier that asked for the verification to be completed. Ok, fine, I find the email and do the verification. There isn't great cell phone reception in Watersound, so the internet is being slow, but I finally get it complete. But then no door code comes. I wait about 10 minutes, and nothing is happening. I'm looking at multiple links, refreshing my email - nothing. I find some phone number and get ahold of an after-hours person who explains that nobody is going to manually verify my verification until work on Monday. So I'm thinking that I'm going to have to find lodging at 11:00pm for the three families we have coming in for the trip. The after-hours person tells me that they'll have someone call me back. I wait for another 10 minutes and get a phone call where some new guy finally gets me the door code. The entire ordeal took about 45 minutes.The vehicle pass situation was also very slow to get handled. Other than that, great trip.

Fun Family Vacation

We loved the location, neighborhood and amenities. The 4 adult bikes were great to have the moment we got there. The 4-seater golf cart was handy too. There is a beautiful boardwalk for walking or biking to the beach! The community pool was nicely heated which was great for the kids this time of year. The house has a ton of space for spreading out and our family of 4 adults and 6 kids had plenty of places to hang out. The first floor bedroom could use a new mattress— it seemed to be quite worn and sunken. The kitchen could use some attention in regard to supplies— the toaster needs to be replaced, we only had 2 pots to use (one very small one and one very large pot)- not enough for a week of cooking with a family of 10. the dishwasher also is in need of repair- we gave that feedback already. Baking pans would be great too- cake pan, muffin tins, etc. Adding hooks in all the bathrooms would be helpful—some of the bathrooms didn’t have a single hook for a towel. Bring your own pool towels— not provided. There are beach chairs and boogie boards in the garage which were great!! you can use the community putt putt golf course for free— the staff at the neighborhood entrance has free equipment for you. Overall a super fun stay for our family in an amazing location!

Wedding Weekend

My wife and I officially blended our two families together which includes three daughters each (6), two husband's each (4) and two grandchildren each (4) and ourselves for a total of 16 people. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. The house was beautiful inside and out and was very clear on arrival. Everyone was extremely happy with the house, the beach and golf cart. It was the perfect place for our blended weekend.

Management agent did not respond to my email request. We had issueswith the golf cart.

Nice place needs some new furniture in the dinning room golf cart needs attention, management company very poor in responding to our need. Place was not clean.

Sandcastle Dunes

Basically we lived it. There were a few issues. The property sleeps 14. And that’s how many we had on part of our stay. The refrigerator was way too small for that. We had to use a cooler also. Also it’s a 6 bedroom house but only 5 full bathrooms. The grill was disgusting. Had not been cleaned. The air conditioning stopped working but the rental company was great about addressing that and anything else very quickly.

Beautiful home!

Beautiful home and excellent location and amenities! I would give it 5 stars, but tennis courts were listed in community amenities and there were no courts available. Otherwise, we LOVED our location!

Awesome family time!

Nice place with most everything you need in kitchen. The heat/air and WiFi all worked great. Awesome place for family time. Golf cart with charger is great. The extra fee from the management company was questionable (not chairs and bikes after we received an email that said we would have it), but that is no fault of the owners. The place is great and we plan to use it again. We have stayed at over 30 places along 30A between Rosemary and WaterSound and plan to stay at this place again!!
