Overall a lovely home as far as decor, but showing its age through wear & tear. As an example, the rocking chairs on the upper balcony are breaking apart; and the king bed in the second master suite must be +15 years old. Additionally, although the management company is responsible and courteous, this property is managed very "corporately" and that shows up both in the length of their contract, as well as the lack of utensils and supplies throughout the house. Examples: bring your own shampoo, they don't provide any; bring your own paper towels, they only provide 2 rolls but expect you to clean up; bring you own broom, you have to leave the place clean but better use the vaccuum; etc.
Lastly, our stay was inconvenienced by the downstairs Air Conditioning unit being out when we arrived. To management's credit, even on Sunday evening, they responded on their emergency line and the following morning sent their own repairman, then later an hvac tech. But it wasn't repaired in a single day because the Owner had to approve a repair that cost less than half the rate of our stay and by the time that was done, we were 2 out of our 4 nights without AC. Management's policy only resulted in a very modest partial refund, even though it was half the home (3 out of 4 bedrooms) without AC for half of our stay.
Even without the inconvenience of the AC disruption, I'll be looking elsewhere for my next VRBO to find a home that is more accommodating of a comfortable and pleasant experience.
