We chose this location because it was clean, safe, affordable and close to the beach. There was a large heated pool, which was close to our unit. Unfortunately it was closed for two days of our trip, due to kids having “accidents”. We went to the smaller pool that was unheated. The beach was car and golf cart accessible, but way too far to walk. The state park provided the best access, it cost $3/daily.
I contacted the management company three times regarding the same issue, I kept getting the same response- someone from the local office would reach back out to me - yet, no one did. That was disappointing.
The golf cart was nice to have - it was powered by gas, not electric and was small (just a four seater). I would recommend renting bikes. There was a back porch, but no outdoor seating. There were two grills at the pool, but they were very dirty.
The beds were comfortable, the appliances were all nice and up to date.
The Big Chill was a convenient place to get food - it’s expensive, but the food was good.
Overall a great place for young families. Very safe and clean.
