Comfy beach house

We enjoyed our stay. The house is in a good low traffic location with natural area behind the house. We loved the huge porch and balconies.

Great location for a family!

Loved our stay. The house backs up to a little greenway that is 100 yds to the big neighborhood pool and 20 feet from a tram stop that’s easy and convenient to use when going to the beach!

Great house

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was clean and well-stocked. Location to the pool was excellent as well as to the tram stop to the beach. The only thing I may suggest is a new couch is needed in the great room but everything else was on-point. We would definitely stay again!

Fall Break

Our trip was cut short by the hurricane but we had a great experience. Very nice property in the Seacrest neighborhood. The owner was very responsive to any questions. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Spring break

We truly had a great week and the house was perfect for us. Everything was 5 stars. Friendly suggestions: a regular size frying pan would be nice to have; the couches are looking a little tired; and finally, the pillows in the bedrooms are uncomfortable.Thanks again.

Seacrest Charm

Have stayed in Seacrest 4 times and never disappointed. Check process has changed but more secure. Appreciate the security checks at night. Such a fun, safe place to stay with quick access to beach.

Enjoyed our stay

Overall we really liked this property. The kitchen had everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest is a blind for the entrance door and possibly a new pack n' play.

Great house and location. Builders next door a little loud, but that's to be expected in a growing area. Last stay in June (different house) they provided beach towels and laundry detergent, so we didn't bring with us. Pool water was pretty cold, but beach was nice.

Overall, 38 Barefoot is a great rental in a great location, and I’d recommend it The three king rooms with their own bathrooms made for a great layout for our group, and the balcony upstairs was awesome. We really enjoyed its location in Seacrest beach, as it was felt more quiet and secluded, yet still only 5 minutes walk to the pool and 10 to the beach. We would encourage the owners to invest in different pillows, as other reviewers have suggested as well. We found them to be small and flat.

Perfect spot

We have always loved seacrest and all that it has to offer. Perfect for families. We love being able to walk to all of the multiple restaurants and shops And not to have to go out of our way. We love having the trames to take us to our drop off area for the beach. It’s so convenient. The home owners we amazing when having questions. Very prompt and very helpful asap. Our family will definitely stay again espically since it is so close to their amazing pool!!

Family Beach Trip 2024

Overall really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!! Had to kill a few bugs in house the first couple of days but might be because they had just sprayed? The couch is flat and a bit uncomfortable but it is a pet friendly house so could be the reason. Amenities description check marks tennis but note this is not within the community nor is it free. Really enjoyed the two free bikes!

30A Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this home in Seacrest Beach. The location was awesome! Such a cute community and not too long of a walk to Peddler’s Pavilion or a short bike ride to the other cute towns along 30A. I highly recommend foregoing the private beach across the street - it is filled with rental chairs/umbrellas which are fairly pricey to rent and the area available to those who bring their own beach equipment is very small and crowded. The Inlet Beach Public access is a short drive or bike ride away from the house past Rosemary Beach and had MUCH LESS people - fantastic! We enjoyed the two bikes that came with the house as well. The owner was also nice enough to ship a Leap Pad left by our daughter back to us.

Beach Vacation 2025

This charming house is located in a great neighborhood! There is a little construction going on behind it but when they are done, there will be a nice walking path with easy access. We rented this house, in part, because it is pet friendly. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t a fenced yard or nearby dog park so the dogs could run free but we managed to get a good walk in each day. The beach was an about a 10 min walk from the house. You can’t take a cart or canopy larger than a single pole onto the beach. We had a group of nine and would’ve taken less room that way but we played by the rules. I recommend renting an umbrella and chairs once there (kind of pricy though) since the first-come-first-serve space is limited and fills up quickly. There’s a fun shopping area about a 10 min walk as well. I love that the preferred mode of transportation there is walking or biking. We rarely saw a golf cart in the area. Overall, we enjoyed the vacation and recommend the neighborhood, specifically this house.

38 Barefoot Lane

Air condition system is terrible. 3rd floor is an oven, main floor is an icebox, master bath vents dont seem to have airflow. Thermostats do not respond to setting of the temps. Master bedroom mattress and pillows need replacing. Componants of sectional on main floor constantly slide apart and seat cushions slide off. Oven timer doesn't work properly. Noticed some repairs needed to porch railings and interior trim. Enjoyed the community very much...tram is a great convenience.

Great house and location

We loved this house. The porches were awesome. In the morning my daughter would go outside so she didn’t disturb my teenage son. The bedroom on the main was perfect for my inlaws. The kids shared the one with the trundle. I read on the swing outside our bedroom. The house in in a coudasac with was great. My jids rode the two bikes everywhere. The location to the pool is fantastic and it is a super short walk to Peddlers Pavilion. Chantal, the manager, was fantastic. Anytime we had a problem she got back to us immediately and had Derek come out to fix it. We highly recommend this house and property.
