  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

The property was very nice. The house was very clean and bright and had a lot of dishes, plates, cups, mugs and silverware. Plenty of towels for the shower. It was nice not having to buy soap for the wash machine or dryer sheets as that was provided to be able to wash our clothes before we headed back home was so convenient. All the tv's have access to streaming media. The master bathroom is very big with a walk in closet. The ping pong table was cool to play. The host Susie was very informative before we arrived and was local so if we needed her or had questions she was available. We didnt need her but it was nice knowing she was local since we were not. The neighborhood is also nice as we went on many walks with our granddaughter in her carriage to get her to go to sleep! I love that there is a long kitchen table to fit everyone comfortably while eating and playing card games and there is seating at the counter as well. We didnt get to visit the beach as it was chilly but there was so many shops and restaurants to visit. We had 6 people, 1 small dog and a baby (with a pack n play, walker, baby carriage and a couple other baby things) and yet still felt comfortable with the amount of space in the house. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Susie!

Susie was great! The location is great and the home is adorable, has everything you need including some extra touches that were so appreciated! Loved the guide book, and loved that Susie was available for any additional questions we had. Highly recommend if looking for a relaxing, fun vacation!!

The house was very clean! The host was extremely friendly and responsive. Pet friendly even though we did not bring any. The pool was closed for the season. Would definitely stay again! We were all very very pleased with our stay.

We stayed for a softball tournament and the field was 12 minutes from here. The area was great, lots of things to do and great restaurants. The house was lovely and enough space for the five of us. Beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms was a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Pool was right outside the lanai door. I would definitely come back here.

This is such a beautiful home close enough to all things needed! We were minutes from the beach, food, and family fun activities! We had one evening of rain where the ping pong table on site provided more than enough entertainment for the night! Owner was super responsive and welcoming!

The entry was keyless with a code, sent to us well ahead of arrival, that we could all remember. The house was immaculate and decorated very nicely. The kitchen was spotless with all of the appliances and cook ware we could possibly need. Beds were super comfy and we all slept great! The lovely pool is practically in the backyard abs well maintained. The gorgeous beach is a short drive away! Will stay here again!

This property was perfect. Though we did not travel with our dogs this trip, I greatly appreciate how this property owner does allow dogs and it is reflected in the home how welcome they are. The house was clean, very well stocked and the property owner was very responsive though we didn't need much. If we ever go back to PCB, this home will be the first I try to book for any future stays. It was cozy, comfort, with great mattresses and water pressure.

House hunting 2025

Here for short stay when hunting a house for my daughter. Had everything we needed, didn’t bring our fur babies this trip. Short drive up to beach access, pool was right outside the back door. Nice place to stay. Susie was quick to respond to emails. Would definitely stay again!

Enjoyable pet-friendly stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 month stay. Our host provided everything we needed for a great experience. Even provided a snack basket and toys for our dog. Close to the dog beach and good local dining. The weather was unseasonably cool during one week but the home stayed comfortable and our host checked in with us to make sure we were ok.

Beach Getaway

Property was as described and good price for the season (December rental). We enjoyed the spacious open layout, huge dining table, and the back porch. Beds were comfortable. The house is close to everything (shopping, restaurants, beach) but not in the congested areas of town. Communication with host was great. Only suggestions would be more bath towels/wash cloths and more comfortable living room furniture. Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven!

Amazing host, clean place!

We stayed here for a week and the condo was perfect. One of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. Susie keeps the place stocked with everything you might need. She's very quick to get back if you have any questions. We had an issue with the internet and she was on it immediately! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place/host!! There were 3 adults, a small dog and 2 kids and we had more than enough room! Everything was just as described. Only thing I would say is, if you're a light sleeper I would bring a sound machine or something to help with the guy who lives nearby with a very loud truck and heads out early in the morning and comes through fairly late at night. It did not negatively impact our stay. We seriously loved it. I only mention it for someone who is planning to stay here and might need to drown out the noise. Overall we thought the locals in the neighborhood were so nice and the location was excellent. I can't really imagine walking to the beach from here since it's not a straight shot back, but we're also the type to haul a couple heavy bags, chairs, a tent/umbrellas. There was excellent parking right at the beaches. I highly recommend the dog beach nearby if you have your fur baby! This condo is right at the swimming pool, and if you have older kids you trust to swim on their own, you can chill on the back porch and watch them from there! It's about 4-5 minutes away from Walmart and Publix. And within minutes of great food.

Home at the beach

Just as the title states, this place was like home at the beach. They had everything we needed to make this a perfect stay and it felt like home. The place was welcoming and comfortable. From pots and pans to a spacious refrigerator in the kitchen, the rooms were set up great. They even had extra doggie beds and food/water bowls for my fur babies. Perfect access to the community pool, all stuff you want to take to the beach without needing to buy them yourself. Very convenient location to stores and Shipwreck is basically a 2 minute drive from the entrance of the community. I can go on and on about how wonderful this place was but all that is needed to say is I will keep coming back to this house in the future. I may even plan my trip around this place’s availability it was that good. The owners were very helpful and communicated quickly during the booking process. 5 stars isn’t enough in my opinion.

Beautiful, well equipped house

6 of us and 2 pups stayed for 5 nights. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were so comfy w Plenty of pillows! Dog beds, dog bowls! Had door code and gate code before we headed to FL, and host was available to answer any questions. Laundry pods, dryer sheets Dishwasher pods were provided, as well as body soaps in shower! .7 mile from beach. Will book here again.
