Perfect Beach Getaway in the Heart of Seacrest

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Seacrest Beach! The location was absolutely perfect — everything we needed was within walking distance, including restaurants, shopping, bars, the beach, and the pool. The tram system was super convenient and made getting to and from the beach a breeze. The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and just right for our family. We felt comfortable and right at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing and accessible beach getaway!

Our stay at “Our Blue Haven” was the perfect opportunity to “chase our blues away” - truly the perfect getaway. From the spacious plan, details within the home creating ease of use, to the close proximity to amenities and walkability to the beach, we couldn’t ask for a better vacation experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful home in a great location! We had a wonderful family vacation and had plenty of space for us and our 4 adult children. Texting the rental company was easy and convenient and they responded quickly. One example is when we needed a new propane tank for the grill - I texted later in the day and it was replaced the next morning. We would definitely go back!

We had a large, multigenerational crew and the layout was perfect for meals, games, fun conversations.The home is well appointed--holy smokes everybody even had a balcony or patio! My sister is a chef and the kitchen had everything she needed. There were plenty of seats by the pool, which is a show stopper. The tram to the beach was fine, but the walk is so short you don't really need it (and I'm not a walker!)Benchmark handled everything promptly--they thought of everything! T

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house- lots of space. Only issue was the kitchen amenities need to be updated (ice machine barely works, only one frying pan, dishwasher poor). Beds were comfortable and we loved all the balconies! Great location- unless you want to go to the beach during Spring Break...the county passed an ordinance that gave ALL renters a small sliver of beach to relax on. You needed to get there by 9am to find a spot and there were literally thousands of us in a small area. Lots of "private" beach on both sides of us, but we weren't permitted to use it. For this reason- we won't be returning to Rosemary/Seacrest area. Again, don't want to take anything away from this beautiful house, but the beach situation was AWFUL. The pools were amazing, but chairs were hard to find due to overcrowding (likely due to beach situation).

Lovely home, with a few drawbacks

We love Seacrest Beach and have visited the area for many years. This home has incredible curb appeal and fantastic porches. We were very comfortable there and everything was in good shape. Property Manager was excellent. The home, while very well maintained, is very "tired". The few updates that have been completed in the home do not flow well with the rest. Three of the biggest draw backs were: 1). The home has a tiny living room that can not seat the number of guest the home is designed to hold. 2). This home has one of the best screened in back porches of any home we've stayed in, but to access, you have to walk through the main floor bedroom - which was never comfortable, so the porch was rarely used. 3). The home is very "noisy" with very little sound proofing between the floors, so it was hard to sleep if you went to bed before the rest of the home. -- That said, we had a great time, and highly endorse the area.

Lovely retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I traveled with my daughter and great-granddaughter in the off season - just the three of us in this lovely, comfortable home. Benchmark was very communicative throughout our stay, reaching out to offer us early check-in, and making sure everything was in order. The front porch swing was a big hit with our little one, who was the only one among us to test the waters in February. The beaches are spectacular, the shops are lovely, and the restaurants are great. George's and Idle Hound Proper were especially memorable. The only hiccup with our stay was the gas fireplace, which was not in working order. We had a couple of cold days, and it would have been nice to light a fire. Ultimately, though, we decided not to bother making a call to the management company.This property would defintely host a crowd; but for us it was the perfect retreat.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is decorated very well, the layout is perfect for a big family. Overall our experience here was so much fun! Benchmark was responsive with bringing a new coffee pot when ours didn't work and quickly brought more gas for the grill....However...the house needs a deep clean, bugs on the window sills, light fixtures full of dust, kitchen cabinets needed wiping and drawers were full of crumbs. We could have dealt with that but when we arrived, there was a bed without a mattress pad...and then later we realized another bed had a mattress pad that was filthy with urine and blood stains. Somehow this passed their inspection! I washed it so I felt better with our son sleeping on it, but it was still stained. I called and Benchmark said they could not replace it because they had none in inventory!! We also were never brought enough washcloths and never had hand towels for any bathrooms. We asked for 2 days and finally I went out and bought enough for the 11 people in the house. Again, their response was there was not enough in inventory to give us any. Send your people out and purchase some then! I questioned the cleanliness of all the linens after finding that mattress pad...we will not rent from Benchmark again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself was fine. Although cockroaches were crawling on the front porch, making it unusable and also inside the screened back porch, also making it unusable. After contacting Benchmark the first time with complaints of roaches, we heard nothing for 24 hours. Keep in mind, we did have a baby crawling around the back porch. When asked for accountability, the excuses began, "the pest control company said it would be 2-5 days before treatment could be done." Absolutely unacceptable. When I was insistent (after 24 hours) that something be done, they caved and said the maintenance team could spray. After the 2nd complaint of roaches, with the back porch, we asked for some type of financial compensation off our rent. Benchmark's solution was to promise a whopping $131 off our over $4000 stay, which we have not received yet. We had many text messages and emails, they never called us. I can provide whatever receipts needed to help the owners understand the lack of accountability and lack of urgency BM had for our family in this home. I am sure the owners are lovely people, the management company is however, not.

The pool and shuttle carts were a big hit with guests.The third floor room is poorly air conditioned, making it almost unusable. It relies on floor vents from the 2nd story unit. Gets hot during the day and does not cool much at night.The limit of only two cars in the driveway seems a bit arbitrary as it could easily fit 3. For a unit that sleeps as many as it does, more likely than not guests will have more than two cars. Street parking was usually not a problem, but you could have others park in front of you.Giving the overall rating of 4-stars primarily because of the A/C problem on the third floor.
