Great Family Getaway!

We had a great time staying at Ocean’s Eight. There was plenty of room, lots of seating at dinner time. The pool was so fun and the proximity to the beach was perfect! I just need to mention the water coming out of the faucets is very HOT, like scalding and not all of the tvs work, but that’s easy to fix in sure. We would definitely go back!

Great Beach house for family vacation

Short walk to the beach. The 30A team was responsive when we had minor needs or questions. We had a breaker trip and could not find the cause and they had somebody at the house within 45 minutes on a holiday which was quite impressive. Will use 30A again.

Vacation 2021

We were a family of 29 on a family vacation. The house was very spacious, however needed a deep clean. Upon arrival the house was still being cleaned and therefore check in was disturbed. However, the manager was very understanding and answered any questions we had as well as providing assistance when needed.

House problems

Faulty electrical, lights would go off & not work in bathrooms. No follow up electrical visit. Rug in 1st floor family room was old, stinky & would bunch up. Vacuum would not work to clean rug. Our son fell down 2 steps as there is no differentiation b/t bottom step & landing. Need lights at bottom of step. Pool area was not clean. Would not stay here again

Great location, cleaning could use some work

Large house, well decorated, very convenient to the beach! 3 families all with young children fit comfortably. Reasons why I’m rating this property low: the floors were filthy when we arrived, our feet were black from walking around. The kitchen sink stopped working the first night- difficult to be without running water in the kitchen. The stove nozzles were VERY easy to turn on- like someone bumped into it and it started clicking like the burner was on and not lit and they were really finicky to turn off. Felt dangerous to have nozzles that easy to turn on with young kids around. With that being said, the rental company themselves were fantastic and responded to all issues immediately- they sent the cleaning service back over to clean the floors and sent a maintenance person who fixed the sink. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but when paying this much money to rent a house I expect the place to be spotlessly clean without asking upon arrival.

Gorgeous!

The house was beautiful, well-appointed and super clean. While it was a little off the beaten path it ended up being a positive as we were in a quiet neighborhood and across the street from a less crowded beach. Management responded quickly to our few calls about recommendations and supplies (we think they bought the beach chairs for our stay!). We were charged for a “lost bike” - make sure your kids keep track of their own bike and keep it locked. Ours came back with “the wrong bike” and thus we were charged $300.

What an amazing house!

We were 5 families, a total of 22 people, who spent beautiful 4 days at this house. It is apparent that a lot of though was put into every detail, in an effort to make the stay a pleasant one for the guests. The location is also great - 5 minute walk to the beach. We will definitely come again.

Great for groups of friends

We loved the property layout. Every room having access to a bath was a fantastic option. The double fridges and double dishwashers made food prep seamless. The large entertaining space was great. We had a small problem with the dishwasher but the property manager responded immediately and the repair person arrived within 30 minutes. Outstanding service.

Excellent for Large Group

We stayed in this property with a large group of adults who were attending a music festival. The layout is perfect. Every room has a private bath and a shared balcony. The common areas allow for gatherings without crowding. The pool is great - loved the Shamu shelf! The location on the cul de sac/corner ensured ample parking. We did have some issues with the power (have to reset breakers occasionally) and some minor things around the house (dishwasher was leaking and back door doesn’t latch properly without some finessing). Nothing too disruptive. Overall, we were very pleased and would rent again in a heartbeat.

Great Family Vacation

Loved to house. Looks just like pictures. Had trouble with one bike but was fixed by next morning. Just may think about another washer and dryer for that size house and number of people. We will be back.
