The amenities were wonderful and Karen was super helpful and responsive before and during our stay. We just wish the lagoon pool was heated since we went in October, but the beach/ ocean were a perfect temperature. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect! Our location was close to the pool, tram, shopping, and the beach. The multiple balconies were awesome. The third floor was our favorite with balconies on each side with a nice view of the gulf. We thought Seacrest was less busy than Seaside and preferred this location. Karen, our property manager, was especially helpful and accommodating to our needs. We definitely will return!

The house was beautiful and clean. Great location, we loved that we could walk to so many restaurants and shops! Highly recommend the house and host! Only negative is the beach access, it is the smallest section of a beach I’ve ever seen and it’s for a very large neighborhood. I know we were there in the craziness of Summer but still. You had to rent a chair to even get close to the water and even then we were 4 rows back.

This property is perfectly located with only a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is just across 30A which makes it very walkable to restaurants and shopping. The beds were comfortable and the house has everything you need for your stay. Karen, our host, was very responsive to make sure we had everything we needed and was quick to answer any questions I had about the area and the house. We loved this house and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect 30A Getaway

We had a wonderful week staying at Southern Waves! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Everything was in perfect proximity—beach access, shops, restaurants—it couldn’t have been more convenient.Karen was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, quickly answering any questions we had and making the whole process easy and stress-free.We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. A Beautiful Home in an Incredible Location – Just Be Prepared for Peak Season Crowds

Southern Waves is in a fantastic location between Rosemary and Alys Beach. We chose it for its close beach access and resort-style pool—and both delivered! The home is beautiful, comfortable, well-stocked, and communication with the owner was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the fireworks views and truly appreciated how well-cared-for the home was.That said, during peak weeks, expect crowds. This isn’t the fault of the homeowner, just a reality of the popular SeaCrest community. Much of the beach is reserved for chair service (75/day for two chairs/umbrella), leaving limited space for others. No wagons or canopies are allowed, and beach security strictly monitors boundaries. We were up early many mornings just to claim a spot.The pool is lovely but often full, with guests holding chairs for long periods—even when not using them—which made it tough to enjoy at times.Despite that, we had a great stay. The home was peaceful, relaxing, and ideal for quality family time. We’ll definitely return—just during a quieter week. Highly recommend this property and host!

Incredible Property and Host

This home is spotless and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful details throughout. The location couldn’t be better—easy bike rides or short walks get you just about anywhere you want to go. The beach and pool are only a few minutes away, and the third-floor balconies offer a lovely ocean view—perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Karen is an incredibly generous and responsive host. As first-time visitors to 30A, we really appreciated all the helpful tips she shared. She checked in with us mid-week and was quick to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

Great spot!

We absolutely loved our stay at this house! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed in both Alys and Rosemary. The home itself was newer, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. We especially enjoyed the third-floor area, which offered ocean views and a great place to relax in the evenings. The layout and condition of the property exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience in Rosemary beach

My wife and I stayed here for an long weekend and it was just an absolute joy. Proximity to Alys beach and Rosemary was perfect. Great restaurants, easy beach access, and the property itself has wonderful gulf views and plenty of space. Our host was wonderful with communication and we will be booking again in the future very soon!

Beautiful and Clean!

This was a beautiful property! We only stayed for 2 nights, but I would love to come back for a longer stay! The rooms were very large and the living and dining room were great for our family to socialize in. The only negative was that check in was at 6pm, however we were able to get into the house early when I reached out to the property manager. Great place!

A very relaxing vacation!

Karen was such a pleasure to work with. We were allowed to check in earlier than expected, which is such a bonus. The house is so clean, comfortable, and a close walk to the beach and pool area. The location is perfect for enjoying great restaurants and shops along 30A. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Perfect location, perfect house

This house is in the perfect location--5 minute walk to the beach and pool and 5 minute bike ride to the Rosemary Beach shops and restaurants. The home itself is lovely and clean and has the most amazing views on the top floor patios. We will be back!
