Beautiful home for multi-family Christmas/New Years celebration! Very well appointed - better than most accommodating this many guests. Plenty of dishes, refrigerators and ice on 3 levels, extras in the kitchen (crock-pot, baking sheets, stemware etc) Eight Comfy Bedrooms (each with en suite) spread out over 4 floors with a great bunkroom on the top floor for all the grandkids. Beware - if you're light sleepers or the kids wake before Grandma and Grandpa -- put them (Gma/Gpa) in a suite other than the 3rd floor primary master. We loved it but it might be too loud for some with kids directly overhead. Pool and hot tub were great, beach access and chair set up was perfect. Communication via text was always timely and thorough. We did end up with a lot of new/unused leftover food (snacks, condiments, tp, paper towels, spices) that we left behind for next guests or cleaning people to make use of (with permission from host) because we didn't expect to love all the local food as much as we did. Check it all out before grocery shopping! Thomas' donuts and Mikes seafood were favorites, Bayou Bills was good, the pier park was as expected, lots of shops and snacks. Ferris Wheel was a neat thing to do. Mean Mugs MilkShakes is connected to an arcade/bowling alley/ bar and a good place to go between early check out and late flights.
