Poorly Maintained

The listing was completely misleading—photos did not reflect the actual condition of the property, which was poorly maintained and unclean. There were visible damages throughout the home, and we encountered bugs during our stay. We tried to overlook it since we spent most of our time out of the house, but the final straw was discovering a mouse trap under the master bed on our last day.

Mold everywhere, inside and out. Kitchen and bathroom drawers did not shut. Dirty yard. Disgusting landscape. Back door covered in black mold. For the price, come on!

Its a shore thing

Overall a great experience. Wonderful location with absolutely great neighbors. 2 and half blocks from the beach. Not far from any attractions. The house was beautiful, and decently cleaned. I would say if you have kids staying the furniture needs to be moved out. Toenails & used condoms were found underneath furniture. But overall such a great stay. because

Needs a lot of maintenance and outdoor cleaning.

This house is NOt as it appears in the pictures. The outside id the home has black mold all around the fence. Mold and mildew on the outside door and windows. Poold had a lot of sand in it. The sprinkers came on twiceca day to water the mold, weeds and mud. The washer in the garage walked across the floor and comes unplugged and blocks the door. Lots of cabinets have loose knobs, under the sinks stinks of mildew. The master bath shower cold water knob turns all the wsy around making it hard to turn off. The back door would not lock, but they respond quickly and fix it. Would not recommend.

VERY DIRTY

FIRST THING WAS THE POOL WAS COVERED IN BLACK ALGAE ALL OVER POOL, THEN IT WAS BEER CANS LAYING OUTSIDE, CIRARETTE BUTTS ALL OVER AROUND POOL, ALL DOORS WAS SO DIRTY THE WAS BLACK , COUCHS HAD STAINS ALL OVER THEM. HOUSE WAS VERY DIRTY NEEDED A UPDATE. THE POOL GUY CAME HE SAID HE BEEN TELLING THEM TO STOP RENTING IT OUT UNTIL THEY FIX THE POOL. THE MANGER CALL ME AND SAID HE WAS GIVING 50 PRECENT BACK ! WE NEVER SEEN THAT!!! HOUSE DOSE NOT LOOK LIKE PICTURES

nice house

inside was great..air cooker etc.. clean and comfortable and roomy. location was best minor complaint :had to shock treat pool on day #3 golf cart got use and pool via our 5 yo grandaughter she loved it.. liked fenced yard for the dogs.. being near the beach was a plus. neighbors great they actually pulled out our trash cans to street early am for us. would we rent again ? yes

Great location and great house

The house was amazing with tons of room and walking distance (across the street) from the beach. Property management is so easy to work with and check up on us via text to make sure everything was ok on our stay as well as on our arrival at the house. Would definitely book again with them!

Amazing

Very nice house. Close to everything. Very nice neighborhood. Within walking distance to beach. The pool was a real treat after a hot day at the beach. Owners were very quick to respond and help when needed. Will stay here again.

Wonderful vacation rental

This was our 8th stay using VRBO. This was by far the best stay - location was great - near beach, bars, restaurants, grocery store, well lit neighborhood. My two dogs loved the fenced in yard and we loved the pool and the entire set up of the home. The cleaning lady Karen lived right next door and was outstanding!! I would book this again. Just one suggestion - for a property of this caliber a few nice not expensive lounge chairs for the pool would make a nice addition.

Great Location for an Ironman Event!

We stayed here with some friends for the Ironman Florida event. The location was an easy, short bike ride away from the Ironman venue. Plenty of shops, grocery stores, and restaurants nearby. The house provided plenty of room for two couples and a small dog. The salt-water pool is a great addition and provided a nice place to relax pre- and post-race! We had an issue with a water leak when we arrived in the bathroom, and the property manager and owner were quick to respond and easy to work with. We would definitely stay again!

Poorly maintained

This is a very nice house. However the people maintaining it are obviously very cheap, and like to rig things. The basic things required for cooking are not there. No cookie/baking sheet, frying pans are rusted non stick surfaces are cut though and un-usable. Hot water in the main bath sink didn't work. None of the shower/bathtubs had drain plugs forcing us to shower young children. The refrigerator leaked because of a broken filter. The outdoor shower did not work. The sand area along the side of the home was so overgrown with weeds it was unusable. Mold in the bathrooms and on the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. Broken shower curtains held in place with wire retainers. Broken window in the kids room filled with water and mold. Several blinds broken and unusable. I replaced two myself. Warped and rotten vanity in the bathroom from water damage. Air filter for the ac/furnace was disgusting and filled with lint. Broken lock to the pool area that would prevent the children access to that area. Maintenance showed up promptly, but didn't make repairs till last day of our stay. This is really a sad case. Basic remedial maintenance would make thus place a gem.
