Cool Change Vacation

This is our fourth trip to the community and this house is by far the best property we have visited. Great floor plan. Convenient to the beach, pool, and tennis courts. Look forward to visiting again next year.

It does need a mention that there are no local TV channels so football watching is impossible unless you can log into a streaming service. (Our Hulu does not allow this in multiple locations).

It is literally steps from beach access and we loved the second floor kitchen/common area. The backyard was another great place to hang out and play games together. The house was so clean, very well-appointed, and had a number of great, small touches. The management company is amazing as well. They were so easy to work with.

A great escape!

Cool change was the perfect house for our family vacation. The property was extremely clean and beautiful and the outdoor space/ backyard was amazing for young children to play. The short walk to the beach walkover was a game changer having little ones in tow and easily being able to come and go. Our week was special and this house made our vacation even better. Communication from the owners was above and beyond. We will be back!

Great location/Amazing home

My wife and I stayed at Sunnyside the week after our daughter got married as a fun reset. The house was much bigger than we needed but we really enjoyed all the space. It was well decorated, maintained and supplied. I would highly recommend this to others. We'd like to bring our children back next year. Right across the street from the beach walkover. Great neighborhood and location.

The decor and style of the home instantly relaxes you when you walk in, and you truly can’t beat the location. My family and I all had our own spaces, and we loved the spacious kitchen and living room. I found our bed (master king) comfortable, but my other family members said that the 2 king guest beds had dips in them. It didn’t matter because we all still had a wonderful time in this gorgeous home.

The property was well maintained, beautiful, and clean. The layout of the house was rather odd with the kitchen and living area on the 2nd floor. If you don’t mind a lot of trips up and down stairs, you will love this beautiful place. I wouldn’t recommend for seniors or young children.

The reverse layout of the home provides everyone with privacy and room to spread out. The backyard is what sets this home apart- especially if you are travelling with young children that need room to run! The porches are amazing- perfect for outdoor dining, or just enjoying the night breeze. I've stayed in multiple homes withing Carillon- Cool Change is our favorite by far!

Thanksgiving Week at the Beach

We paid for an early arrival and had some issues at the gate (they didn’t have our reservation) and were delayed getting a door code- but once that was resolved we were good. The house is very spacious so everyone has private areas and the balconies provide extra places for dining. The backyard is perfect for children to play- thankful for the toys provided! Kitchen is nicely equipped for family meals. The location is perfect- across the street from boardwalk 2- and having beach chair set up the week of Thanksgiving was a wonderful surprise. There were 6 of us- and everyone had plenty of space to spread out, while the common areas were plenty large enough for family gatherings & meals.

Great Rental Property!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a comfortable and memorable stay at Cool Change! First of all, a great location right across the street from beach walkover. The House was very clean and made us all feel comfy and welcome. The beds made me sleep like I was in my bed at home. No complaints from my adult kids either. They brought their children ages 5 and under with them. The kiddos and adults really enjoyed the nice fenced backyard, a convenience that is hard to find. We grilled out twice and the children played games there. Also, the outdoor decks were enjoyed very much! Beach towels were provided and a washer /dryer was available snd used a lot! There was a beautiful full service kitchen with plenty of utensils provided. We cooked quite a bit since we had small children and would be hard to go out and eat every night. We have stayed in this Carillon neighborhood for 12 years. We keep coming back because the neighborhood is so nice and kept very manicured and neat. There is a guardhouse only allowing the residents inside. We have always felt safe there. It’s a great place to ride bikes and their 4 pools are very nice and good sized. Of course , the main feature, the beach , is never crowded and plenty of room to enjoy. It’s always neat and clean and beach chairs were provided and used often. This house was beautiful and is a great location and we’ll be back again soon !!

Great home away from home

Cool Change was just that -- a cool comfortable change from our regular home, but oh so welcoming and inviting. The back yard was a safe and fun place to relax with my two-year-old granddaughter -- that is a very unique feature for beach houses -- what a plus. Our crew agreed that all the mattresses were comfortable, the house was quite clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Location was wonderful. One beach walk-over was 3 minutes away to the east and another was 5 minutes away to the west. The family pool and pickle ball courts (and tennis court) were just blocks away -- 10 minute walk or 4 minute bike ride (we rented bikes). The quaint village was also 4 or 5 blocks away. Wonderful accommodations in a great location within Carillon. Looking forward to booking this place again next year.
