(Not enough characters -- full review in photos.)The house was well decorated, and mostly comfortable and clean. The area was nice. This will go south fast if host and crew do not seriously step their game up.As soon as we got in they asked us to troubleshoot problems their crew missed; asked us to make purchases in attempt to fix what crew missed; when that didn't solve the problem, not a finger was lifted to resolve the issue. Why ask us to check for problems if you're not gonna do anything about it?Our short stay after a very long family road trip was due to the death of my husband's father. This did not impact their sympathy nor asking favors or errands that they themselves took no interest in fixing. They made excuses for themselves and crew asking for our patience, but were not patient with us when they assumed we broke something... til pressed. Luckily they changed their mind when I pushed back, which was the right thing to do. In the hospitality business, I despise when a host will expect the world from their guests and yet expect lots of patience and yielding from their guests in return. If it's not going to be a two-way street, err in favor of the person paying! People are spending a lot of money to stay in your properties... to treat them as just an extension of staff only with more accountability ain't it. And don't ask people to check for problems if you're just gonna shrug, apologize, and sit on your hands. Be of service.
