Nice overall, but the small stuff added up. Roaches, cracked tile, pocket doors that DIDN’T SHUT Leaving us without privacy, cheap grill with no grease pan, hose for washing feet without a clear path back, toaster that didn’t work, dirty looking couch, air units too close to entry door, and did say Roaches

Great family vacation

We had a great week at Bellview for our annual family beach vacation. The age range was 2 years to 82 years old. The house had room for everyone. The house was clean and as shown in the listing. The host was very responsive to questions/issues. My only disappointment was beach chairs were not included in this rental.

Family Retirement Celebration

Pros: -layout was perfect for extended family to have their own space and places to congregate together -community itself was nice, quiet, and safe -it was as short walk to the pool and beach - when we had a problem the company did respond to us quickly. Cons: - the pictures on the listing are deceiving on the amount of wear and tear on the house. Walls, furniture, outside furniture, etc - there was mold in the showers, mold and standing water washing machine, sand in the dryer, sand and grit on the floors. -only one small outside rug which meant you tracked everything inside because you couldn’t wipe off your feet outside the door or inside either. We found ourselves vacuuming every other day. - not all large appliances worked: grill was in bad shape, dryer stopped working, and water dispenser on the fridge didn’t work. - you do not get enough towels to get your through the week. Most of the rooms got 2-4 towels and we only got 4 wash clothes total. When the dryer quit working and we requested more towels and wash clothes they did bring us enough for 8 people for the week. - you will need to bring your own or rent the chairs on the beach. The chairs they provided are for watching sports games, not the beach. It was very evident as they were starting to rust and turn colors. While we loved our stay at Carillon Beach and will return we will not return to this house.

Great Location

This house offered plenty of room for our 3 generation family. Everyone had their space, from Grandma and Grandpa down to the teenager. We have stayed in Carillon several times before and love the location. Cleanliness was not the best. There were cheerios on the living room floor and a huge cockroach in the main floor bedroom. The living room rug had large rips in it, but I am sure it get a lot of hard wear. On the good side the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware and cookware. The dining table is large but there were only 4 chairs and the 4 counter stools are too short to eat at the counter. We pulled the counter stools up to the table so our family of 8 could all eat together. Overall I give this property a score of 3. Location and size of house gets a score of 5.

Overall a Good Stay

I will start by saying the customer service and response time was impeccable. I had one issue with the lower two levels being fairly hot/muggy and they were able to (very quickly) lower the temp for me. My main complaint on this property is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. All of which were pretty moldy/mildewy; especially the master bath on the second floor. The other second floor bath/shower combo would not drain and was basically unusable. The water got knee high within minutes. One of the balconies apparently was never cleaned because many party items were left from the previous stay. The other complaint is the gardening around the property. It was so overgrown that you could barely get to the outlet to charge a golf cart. The other shrubs were growing all over the porch and railings and we were planning on using this space for wedding photos. I will say, I did not reach out for them to address the bathroom cleanliness because we did not have any free time.

Plusses and Minuses

Great deck and very good third floor. However all bar stools sit too low on first and third floorand the table on the main floor is kind of small. All that said, I would consider renting it again.

Wonderful Time abd Great House

We had a quick trip, only 3 nights, and my only complaint was the weather which is out of all of our control. The house was great and super spacious four our group of 11 people and 2 pups. Great spaces to hangout and just have some downtime! Highly recommend.

Excellent Location//House Layout and Quality Not Great

The location of this home is excellent. We LOVE the neighborhood. But the price we paid for this home was NOT worth it. If traveling with lots of people or other families and you don't care about piling as many people into rooms as you can this is the house for you. However, we were a single family traveling and there truly is NO Master/Primary bedroom. The only King bed is with the smallest bathroom, and a giant set of clunky bunk beds in it. The King bed was terrible, you feel like you are going to roll off it. They list the primary as the top bedroom however its a queen bed, very small room and bathroom, and we did not feel comfortable leaving all our children on the floors below us as you can't hear much. They could use lamps /floor lamps in the family room, and the game room upstairs. The bar stools are way too short for the bar, the dishwasher is AWFUL and sounds like an alarm going off. The bathrooms had mold in most the grout. There are only 8 silverware settings, so not enough silverware if traveling with more than 8 people. Cookware was great, but would not be conducive for cooking for more then 6-8 people. There are no cushions for the loungers on the top back porch, and the curtains on the porch are totally rusted out, along with the light fixtures and curtain rods in bathroom. For the price we paid the quality of this home was not worth it.

This is a wonderful property and was even better than the pictures depict. And the entire area was lovely. Everything you would need in a vacation home and would definitely reserve again!

Great vacay home!

Property was clean, spacious and perfect layout for multiple people and/or families. Location was perfect close to tennis courts and pool. Management was extremely responsive with questions.

This property has so much space and the location is wonderful! This was our fourth visit to Carillon. We loved our stay in this home.
