Springfest

Excellent host & spot. Just like a house on the beach...wait, it was & whatta treat. Took us back in time & provided a GREAT stay for us & guests. NOTHING like being that close to the beach. The decor, water toys, patio & story of the Lott family brought it all together.Thanx for a great 2 weeks

Relaxing House on the Beach

Our family had a wonderful time at this beach house. Everything was as promised and described. This area on the beach was quiet - even during spring break season. The walkway to the beach was close and the back deck gave great views of the beach and sunset. The main house and guest house were clean and provided everything we needed. We had to contact Marty with a question and he responded immediately with an answer. The house is close to the grocery store and within easy travel distance to local attractions. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for family getaway and we would definitely consider this for any future vacation plans.

Amazing Views.

This property has the most amazing view of the Gulf. Me and my family needed some time away from the big city and found this beautiful home and quite Sunnyside. This home was well stocked with everything and anything you will need. No one will be disappointed in renting this home, we will be back. Thank you so much to Marty Bush for making checkin and checkout a breeze.

Lots of fun !

We had a very relaxing time on our vacation.. The advertisement for the“worlds smallest shower”. ,would be correct, but the beautiful backyard and the view made that the smallest thing to be concerned about. The outside shower was definitely the way to go! The main room had plenty of room and seating for all of us. The kitchen was very nice..The beach house is probably one of the last of its kind.. all one level and no stairs. I would stay there again!

Awesomeness!

This house and location cant be beat! We had a party of 6, including 4 adults and 2 kids, and were very comfortable. The house has every thing you need to enjoy the beach and a laid back vacation. Marty is an outstanding host, making sure you have everything you need. Being able to walk out the back door right on the beach is the best. The outside shower is phenomenal, also. Enjoyed watching the purple martins do their thing every morning, too! Will definitely be back soon!

We had an issue once arriving at the property and Marty immediately answered / fixed the problem. He made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. The views in the backyard are breathtaking. We brought our pups who thoroughly enjoyed the yard as well. Would stay again!

Great location but poorly maintained property !

This is an honest review based on the recent trip to this location. We booked this family trip for 9 nights but we ended up leavimg three days earlier because we could not stand the unpleasant property despite the beautiful view and location . Marty Bush the owner tried to accomodate us and refunded us partial for the three days but the house needs to be checked and updated properly for having a decent stay. For the money we paid we only ask for esentials that every human being needs as such: a comfortable matress and a decent shower. We could not sleep for several nights . Everything is from 1900 except the kitchen appliances and termostat. The smell in the front little house is terrible ( one room with a bathroom ) . The shower in the main house is very small as stated on VRBO but with broken drain cover with a hole in it. M bedroom matress has the edges very high and goes down in the middle which is imposible to sleep on. Doors locks are super old and squick at every single touch . In the master half bathroom the sink and toilet are NOT at the confort height and is a struggle for tall people.There are lots of things to say but I will stop here. We did not enjoy our stay and we will not recommand this place to anybody.

Marty’s no frills beach house was perfect for our family! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and the fenced in beachfront backyard was a bonus since we brought our pups! Had a maintenance issue and Marty was super responsive and got resolved asap. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Whimsical beach getaway

Top Notch Vacation Property

Best beach house I’ve ever rented! I have nothing negative to say. From check in to departure, it was one great day after another. From the view to the comfort, no complaints at all. The owner was fantastic to deal with!

Beautiful Location and Quiet!

Great place with view of the Gulf and beach. The house was so adorable and had all the necessities! Loved the decor. Even thought pets are not allowed on the beach, we took our dog down there numerous times with no issues…it was great! Just watch out for the sheriff in the white truck! The owner was great to communicate with as well! Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect for family beach getaway

Charming beach house that is as described. It’s not modern and not a hotel. So as long as you come with the appropriate expectations, you will not be disappointed. Family had a blast spending all day at the beach and loved the ability to leave our stuff on the beach and come in for lunch and still see our stuff from the back porch. The beach is beautiful white powdery sand and the water is emerald green and crystal clear. You can see your toes from neck deep. Also it is not as busy as other areas in 30a or Destin which we loved. We would definitely consider coming back!

Great Gulf view & access

As billed, this is an older property. SO, if you want posh, this is not the place for you. The view from the living room & patio is amazing...sunsets were incredible. The beach access is immediately adjacent to the property. Furnishings are ample, but modest/older, with the exception of the TV in the living room & Keurig coffee maker. The owner was very responsive when I reached out about a couple of concerns.

Our stay

Underwhelmed and disappointed, very unclean floor to ceiling fans/bought $$ of own cleaning supplies. Only hot water was shower, no faucets. Mother in law suite (very small- photos do not due justice) mold smell covered up by (2) Glade Scents. Bedding dirty, cleaning fee I think is pocketed or cleaning service is robbing owner. A lot of things not taken care of for price. View spectacular/Beach phenomenal.
