This was a beautiful property, located directly off the large pool, the primary reason we booked this house. Although we read reviews that the pool security strictly enforced pool rules, we had no idea the pool security would force pool closures for hours on end, EVERY SINGLE DAY we stayed at the Seacrest property (the entire 1st week in Aug.). The staff would relay the pool was closing for several hours due to poop and/or diarrhea, every single day (one day it opened only for 1 hr.)!
Security was not being honest however. On one occurrence, there had been a child jump into the pool off the fountain wall that had difficulty swimming and a couple was throwing a football not permitted in the pool. The Security watching the pool were panicked, they phoned someone indicating they didn't know what to do, so they were closing the pool, due to the pool being heavily occupied and 2 persons not adhering to the rules. They yelled the pool was closed and then told everyone someone reported poop in the pool, NOT TRUE!
All of these closures were not being reported to 30A Mangement, we did visit the management office to relay these closures! We paid $10K for a house off the pool, and the pool was readily closed every day for hours on end.
Also, there were roaches in the house. Roaches found in the bunk room on the 2nd floor, and a roach in the kitchen coffee maker.
The house was very nice, but the pool was a huge disappointment and we would not consider staying in Seacrest again.
