Paradise at Marimac's Maison

This house is gorgeous, roomy and super clean. It was great for our family including our 73yo grandfather who is not able to walk up stairs. The elevator was perfect. The beach access is much closer than it appears. After a day at the beach or eating out it was nice to come home and relax. This house does not disappoint. Marijane was a very attentive host & the next time we stay at Inlet beach we will book with you.

Great Property

My family and I spent Thanksgiving at this property. It was a great experience. The elevator is invaluable. We had a large group and everyone enjoyed having their own space. The host was very responsive. Check in was easy and the pool was great. Really easy walk to the beach and easy drive to everything you need.

best location in the area

The photos do not describe how close you are to the beach. Walk out the back gate on the lower level, turn left, walk for 30 seconds and you are on the beach. This coastal area is very popular so it's really nice to have the beach so close and not worry about parking. If you are bringing a boat, there is a small Walton County boat parking lot just a few homes down from this property. Inlet Beach was much less crowded than Panama City Beach. The elevator was not as slow as I expected and much better than taking luggage & groceries up and down the stairs. Lower level ice maker (in counter not freezer) is amazing. Suggested to bring extra; dish towels (4 provided) trash bags (2 for each kitchen trash can), paper towel (one roll in each kitchen), TP (two rolls in each bathroom), step stool if driving (cupboards are very high!). They provided plenty of: table service, coffee & drinking cups, dish soap and hand soap in each bathroom. Don't forget your beach towels, umbrella and chairs! It's very expensive to rent on the beach. There was a beach cart at the pool. Listing shows garage parking, this is not correct, garage is locked. Driveway looks small but we fit a Caravan, Durango and Gladiator. Smoking, go out the back gate and stay on the road. The smaller roads and grounds inside the homeowners association are non smoking areas. Had some difficulty with entry, very fast reply & solution. Owner/manager was very responsive to all inquiries. Would recommend renting with them.

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay! The location and proximity to the beach was fantastic.

We had a great long weekend with all of my family. The property was perfect for our large group. The private pool was perfect for my young nephews. And the location couldn’t be beat!

Close to Beach for large group - great owners

Start off with just a couple of things to look out for - it is not a standalone property, which I thought it was from the listing, for the cost, I expected a standalone. But with that said, this house will accommodate a large group comfortably, allowing for privacy with a bottom floor and top floor living room and kitchen areas. We had 11 and it worked out great. The exterior furniture needs updating, as several pieces were broken and very worn....I believe the owner is in the process of doing this, as the unit next door seemed more updated in terms of outside furnishings. The house needs stronger WiFi, so it can be accessed on exterior porches, as the cellular service is dismal in this area. Aside from those items - the house is great - the owner/manager is responsive and helpful, the house is pretty well stocked kitchen wise. This is a 3 story property - so do not be scared of stairs, yes there is an elevator but it is very touchy, so can't count on it. My family and friends had a great time - the location is great, very short walk to beach. The owner warns that there is limited parking, very true...honestly 4 large cars would be an issue... I would plan on no more than 3 cars. All in All... great property, enjoyed the stay, location was awesome and for me, almost number one is having an owner/manager who 'cares' and this owner does, which goes a long way with me - we will be back.

Perfect house and location!

This was our second year at Inlet Beach. We love Inlet Beach. It is a private beach that is not crowded and only minutes from 30A. Marimac’s Maison was perfect for our family. The private pool and gate access to the road, with a 2 minute walk to the beach was ideal. We have 4 young kids and the accommodations made it easy and hassle free. I highly recommend this property.

Property and Area was perfect for us

The house was clean, in good shape, and super close to the beach. There was beds and bathrooms every where we turned in the house. The grocery stores were close by, along with other amenity locations. The parking was a little tight, but we had four large automobiles, and two were huge trucks. The property manager kept in contact with me through text, which was very convenient.

Property as described. Communication was great with Marijane the entire stay when needed.

Came down over spring break from Michigan with 3 families. 6 Adults and 7 kids ranging from 13-18. House was perfect for this size group and there were plenty of things to do inside and outside as the beach with less than a block away through the back gate. Small pool and Jacuzzi in the back fenced in area but for the time the kids spent it was good size. In the evenings the kids had plenty of spaces to hang out and the 3 -18 year olds stayed the mother-in law suite on the first floor with a full kitchen and bathroom which worked out great for them. Even though the weather ended our trip a day early it was a great trip... Thank you!!!

Thanksgiving at the beach

Steps from the beach, this beautiful townhouse accommodated our family holiday. The small pool was perfect for our grandchildren at the end of the day. We had a great vacation!

First Class Top Shelf Beach Home and Owners!

This home is immaculate! Very close to the beach and in a great neighborhood. Make sure you take the time to ride bicycles around. Feels like an extension of Rosemary Beach without all the busyness! Great restaurants who deliver. Owners where extremely accommodating and hospitable! Worth every penny!

What an incredible find this was! Super convenient to everything (3-4 great restaurants <5 min away; Publix 2 miles away, etc.) and yet still only a block from the beach. House was exactly as described - exceptionally well furnished and kept. Had a couple of minor glitches and they were remedied immediately. Highly recommended!

Great for large families

This property is very well maintained and the communication with the property owner was excellent! She even sent cupcakes over for the kids on the 4th of July!! It is a very short walk to the beach from the house. There is a small road behind the house but it isn't busy at all so we felt quite safe with all of the kids walking to and from the beach. The only small thing we would highlight is that the 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor are not actual bedrooms. They can be used as such but they are also common walkways to get in and out of the house through the side or back door. That being said, there was plenty of space for all 15 of us and we had a great time!!

A wonderful weekend at the beach

This was the best vacation home I have ever rented. The house was very clean and in fantastic condition. We were right by the beach so waking there was very easy. The neighborhood was great, a beautify view at sunset. Property manager was very attentive and answered all of our questions promptly. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone!

Nice home, very close to beach

The house is beautifully finished and well updated. It was also very close to the beach which was great! There were some issues with the water heater not working the first night, but this was promptly fixed. Then he spa heater stopped working half way through our stay which was unfortunate. Otherwise everything was in working order, very clean and comfortable. I think the main thing we were disappointed with was the description of "6 bedrooms," when in fact there are three proper bedrooms, one bunk room that only has a curtain separating it from the hallway, and then the other two "bedrooms" are in fact living room spaces on the bottom floor with murphy beds in them... I would say this is in fact more of a 3.5 bedroom 5+ bath. So essentially there are two bedrooms you have to walk through to use the house... not really bedrooms at all. They have done a good job with their photos so as to not make this readily apparent. All in all it worked out fine and we had a good time, but the two couples who thought they were getting their own bedrooms in this "6 bedroom" house were a little bummed to find out they were sleeping in a living room... I can see how it works fine for families with lots of kids, which this is clearly geared toward, but It would have been nice knowing this going in.

Fabulous Place

Marimac Maison was everything as promised and so much more! The house is beautiful, very spacious, clean and convenient. Marijane was super responsive to any of our requests. Three spacious master suites and a perfect room and hangout for teenagers.

Beautiful home and great for large families.

This house has it all! After spending a week at Inlet Beach I wouldn’t go anywhere else. This beach is so quiet and uncrowded combared to Rosemary, Seaside and Watercolor. If you want a fun family home this is the one! I would highly recommend and will definitely return!

Great house and location!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and in a great location. The pool and hot tub were great. The only issues we had were: 1) the code we were emailed to get in was incorrect and we sat outside for an hour waiting to get in. Not fun in the heat after driving 8 hours to get there 2) the ice maker downstairs was not working and we were not informed of this prior to our visit Those were really minor things and did not significantly affect the trip. We would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

Nice house! Easy access to beach.

Three story duplex with lift for older folks. Very nice views and easy access to beach. Did have some issues with refrigerator, which owner was responsive and we were grateful. Kitchen could have used a few more frying pans, otherwise OK. Very sparse on paper items...ie, less than half rolls of TP in bathroom, so bring your own before you arrive!
