Had a great week in newly built rental. Layout of house great with one big Master on main (helped with handi-capped friends), nice laundry room, big kitchen, TV room and pool/patio all on first floor. Pool was great (needed with high heat!) and management helps us get pool guys in mid week to fix skimmer that was stuck. Grill had gas! Lower and second level screened patios were great, but I’d suggest adding ceiling fans to enjoy the spaces even more.
Second floor stacked washer dryer smelled horrible and we didn’t use it due to that. I believe it’s likely because it’s in a closet and the washer door gets closed which is really bad for front loader machines. I would have appliance company do a deep clean in washer and maybe remove closet door and leave labels to keep washer door open between use? Bunk room adjoining queen room was great for several 16 year olds! AC had a hard time keeping things cool on the second and third floor due to high heat outside which made it a little rough. Maybe offer extra fans? Only about half of ceiling fans in the house worked and maintenance couldn’t figure out why?
Kitchen was well stocked and used every day! We cooked a lot to stay away from restaurant crowds due to Covid. Big issue is kitchen faucet had horrible water pressure which made it extremely difficult to wash dishes. Half bath also had trickle pressure in faucet. Some sinks and showers had good pressure though. Maybe being mew construction there might be debris that got down certain pipes?
Management (Chrystal) was fantastic and very prompt to answer our texts/calls and she did her best to fix things. Faucet, etc will get fixed, just not during our week there.
Would definitely rent this house again as I’m sure the issues I listed will get fixed promptly by Management team. House has about 5-6 beach chairs, several boogie boards, pool noodles (we left a few pool floats), two in pool umbrellas (that helped a lot with heat and our friend that had MS. House also has new beach cooler and beach buggy. Very convenient Publix close by! We wish the house book/binder showed routes for path biking as we weren’t quite sure? We may have rented bikes otherwise? House has massive supply of beach towels! Main TV instructions in house folder need to be updated as they aren’t correct anymore. Only way we could use TV is via screen sharing with Roku. I bought and left extra ping pong paddles and balls for the house! FYI there is an otter that lives in the lake!
