"I must say that the description on Expedia is a bit misleading. This is a shared apartment with private rooms and bathrooms. You need to step into the hallway to go to your private bathroom. The host made up for that little inconvenience. He was so helpful and went out of his way to accommodate every request we had and even those we didn’t have. Great host with great service. Would recommend due to his hospitality. Place is very well located"

"Our hosts were excellent. The property was neat, clean and tidy. We communicated via Google Translate and it worked just fine. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The Wi-Fi was spotty and the heat in Cefalu was brutal during our stay so the A/C had to work hard but the use of a fan in the bedroom made it comfortable. I would love coming back."

* Very poor support when problems arise. The most frustrating part of our stay was being locked out of the apartment for several hours in the heat with no assistance from the property. The door has a lock that requires some specific “tricks” to open, which we were not aware of. We ended up stuck in the corridor, which was extremely hot and had almost no airflow, for hours. "On a positive note, the location and views were excellent. However, we received a call as we were about to step on the aeroplane requesting payment. Surely this should have been done earlier? The light outside the room didn’t work so it was very difficult to see to get the key in the door. There were no instructions on how to get the electrics to work (random small key in a wall box behind the TV). Also no instructions on how to work the air conditioning/heating resulting in us being freezing...
