"We were 2 couples staying for a long weekend. 2 went to Rick Steins seafood school for a day course, and 2 decided to take a 4 hour walk around the beautiful headlands. The flat is perfect for this type of relaxing reunion, well equipped and nicely decorated. Super location. And free parking but only for relatively small cars. "

"My sister and I chaperoned our 80 year old Aunt to Cornwall. We stayed 4 nights at Hirst at No 8. It was perfect for us. Fully equipped Kitchen, lovely sitting room facing a fenced patio. En-suite for the master bedroom, we let our Aunt take that room. The apartment, or annex is bigger than it looks in pictures, all one level. I told Angela it’s the cleanest place I have ever stayed, it was spotless. Great base for us. Thank you Angela and Stuart!"

"House location was very good just few yards from the sea, but the facilities were very poor. This was the first time ever holiday where their were no bedsheets, no pillow covers, no blanket covers in any rooms, no towels and the worst part was we had been notified at the last minute to bring our own sheets and towels which is just a day before arrival. Some of the pots and pans were dirty not even washed so we were bit disappointed."

"The location can not be beaten, right on the beach of Portcothan Bay. This is one of these places you're kids will remember when they grow older "the time we stayed in the house with all the stuff found at the beach". It has great summer, beachie vibes and Jane is a lovelly host. Its a long way from where we usually live otherwise this would become our favourite weekend spot for sure "

"The house and garden are great and we loved the view, the weather was mostly good and we enjoyed going out to see Padstow. But the seagull nest on the roof was a problem as every time we went out side the gulls dived at us and made a mess on the patio. "

"A wonderful property enjoying spectacular views of the ever-changing waters of the River Camel. The open-plan living space is vast, well-equipped and flooded with natural light - a great place to hang out en masse. The dogs enjoyed basking in the enclosed and sunny garden. Inchmerry is far enough out to be peaceful and yet a flat, scenic 10-minute stroll takes you straight to the centre of Padstow, courtesy of having the Camel Trail on the doorstep. "
