"This place was amazing. It has been lovingly converted into accommodation with so much attention to detail that you don’t want to leave. The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc. Highly recommend a stay here. "We had the Long House for a family get together her, four generations and a dog. It was perfect for this."

"Rob an excellent host really enjoyed our stay. The property is very clean could maybe do with a few extras but we found it had everything we needed. En-suite bedroom is lovely but not for tall people lacks head height."

"Excellent"

"So happy we chose to stay here for our vacation! Absolutely 💯 home away from home. All the thoughtful extras were thoroughly appreciated! A wonderfully homey place to relax after sightseeing. Would certainly be back and highly recommend! "

"What a lovely cosy shepherd's hut in a quiet field with 2 other huts well spaced apart. I never heard any of the other guests. It was perfect as a little hideaway to relax after working in the area. Very clean."

"Roseleigh Cottage is a lovely little house. It is ideally situated in central Cookham a stones throw from the Thames tow path and close to a range of pubs and other places to eat. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay as did our dog who appreciated the many walks thereabouts."

When my husband and I started planning our trip to the UK (his first visit), I knew where we had to stay! The setting is beautiful and peaceful, overflowing with flowers and those classic green rolling hills you envision when thinking of the English countryside. The cottage was a great size and had a particularly lovely bathroom and...

"The property was lovely with nice kitchen and 2 en-suites , however some improvements could make a massive difference, there wasn’t enough comfortable seating for 4 people, the sofa was lovely but too much of a squeeze for 4, the lounge needs another comfy armchair not the desk chair that was there, the outside space was well over grown and not kept tidy, the bushes are well overgrown making the outside space tiny, there is also a well overgrown bush overhanging the front door , the location of...

"Spent a wonderful 3 nights at Alderley house with friends. House very well equipped, plenty of crockery , glasses etc. Very comfortable living room and lovely and warm . Bedrooms amazing, large and all en suite. Spotlessly clean throughout. Location very good , 10 -15 min walk to Bourton high street . Can recommend Birdland ! Hope to stay here again. Thank you Margaret for the goodies !!"
