"The toilet kept running all night, then ran out of water in the middle of a shower. Texted the property owner, who failed to respond. The staff at the coffee shop below was very nice, and they tried to help, but they did not get a response from the property owner either."

"The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing.
The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated.

"The cottage was so cute from the outside but too modest for my husband and I on the inside. We ended up leaving after one night. We had planned on cooking at the house but I underestimated how small the kitchen was from the picture. There were also no paper towels to clean anything. The owner has a ring camera by the door and must have overheard us complaining so his cleaning lady came by the next day to check on us which was a nice gesture but a heads up would have been appreciated. "Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....
