Best place to stay on the Oregon Coast!

The house was so much fun! It’s quirky and cute with lots of brightness. Perfect for a sunny late April weekend! They provide you with everything you need for a comfortable stay and I love that the Roku had all the streaming services like Hulu, HBO max, Netflix. There’s a hotel with a tiki bar just a short walk away where you can get a pina colada and the devils punch bowl/ beach access is so easy to get to on foot. Only downside was one of the fans in the living room by the TV didn’t work and it gets a little warm throughout the day with all the windows but wasn’t too bad with the door wide open with the screen door closed shut. I would definitely stay again. Bed was super comfy.

Perfect Last Minute Getaway

The space was exactly what we needed. The window made the rainstorm even better and the kids had a blast with the design of the house. The beach was a short walk down the hill, which the dog LOVED. I recommend bringing your own pillows but all in all, it was a wonderful trip!

This is a unique property and it was fun to see the moon and stars out of the dome windows on the ceiling at night. Unfortunately, we had major difficulty getting into the unit. The extremely long door code wouldn't open the door on a few occasions, necessitating a call to VACASA. The other really bad thing was the refrigerator. When we loaded it, the door kept coming open, so we pushed a chair in front of it to keep the door closed. However, that wasn't the only problem. The fridge just wasn't working. The ice cube trays were full of water that wouldn't freeze and all of our food in the fridge was ruined. The property manager came with bags of ice the next day, but by then it was too late! We're still waiting to hear if we are going to be compensated for this. The other thing that we hadn't anticipated was all the stairs. It was difficult for us to unload the car, schlep everything upstairs, and then up another flight to the sleeping area. We're both in our 70's and this made it a bit difficult!

Lovely Costal Dome Home

Lovely area, comfortable home just around the corner from a cafe and seafood restaurant as well as cool beach views. Very fun stay, be warned there is not much in the way of privacy or sound isolation so probably best for families or friends that are comfortable with each other. Only missing a star because the washing machine didn’t work and there were some used baking trays that were left in the oven from the previous stay. Otherwise fantastic! Would recommend!

Much better for a summer getaway

The dome would be a cool summer destination, just a short walk from devil's punchbowl, but it was cold in the winter, even with the heat on. We had the power go out while we were there due to a wind storm and weren't able to get ahold of the owners. There was also dog hair all over one of the blankets.

Modest but bright and spacious with killer location

We enjoyed our stay, loved the location. Kitchen had a lot though was missing a few of the basic implements. Never heard back from property manager about oven not working. Fortunately we werent depending on it. Modest furnishings but beds were comfortable and very open, bright, spacious place to hang out. We will be back!!! With surf boards next time.

Loved this house. It was so much fun staying here! Many amenities were perfect. The WiFi, and thus the TV, however, left much to be desired. We figured out the correct password, however, the signal was so weak that the tv was useless.

Unique and Dreamy! ✨

It was a treat to get to stay here! We loved the windows and the over all vibe of such a unique place. The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with nice pots, pans, and even gadgets- 2 crock pots! We definitely would like to stay again. It is also pet friendly but you would never know because it is in nice shape :)

Really unique property

The Surf Dome was an awesome place to stay in for a few days. Very clean, and had all the amenities you could hope for, except maybe a bit more privacy for the upstairs bedroom (which is the queen bed). Only other issue I had was that the listing said you could stream Netflix on the TV, but it wasn't connected to anything to do so, and texting the property owner didn't get a response. Not a huge deal since I was more interested in spending time outside anyway. Property is a short 2 minute walk to a nice section of beach, with access to Devil's Punchbowl at low tide.

Dirty for the price

The property was a experience, but the dinning room table was dirty with black hair all over it. The carpet between the sofa and chest "coffee table " was very dirty. The sofa's upstairs and downstairs very,very soiled. Floors and carpet looked to not been swep or vacuumed. The card left at property had Christopher name on it. I Relies that this is a surfers 🏄‍♂️ pad. But after just over a year of Covid, spot and stains stands out. O' almost forgot, the photo shown for this property, shows a BBQ. And we had steaks The nice lady that was at the property when I returned to retrieve a left behind item, was very polite with a mask on. Please keep me updated on any properties you may think we would like. Paul & Bobbi
