Not very happy about
We arrived about 30 or 40 minutes early and could not get into Anchors Away as the cleaning staff was still working on the house. When we finally got to the house we found the kitchen light was dusty and we had trouble cooling the refrigerator and the basement bed had not been made and there were NO bed linens for the bed and no bed linens for the hide a bed either. We finally scrounged and made do for the hide a bed. Around 10 or 10:30 p m I called the welcome center And then went to the welcome. Center and knocked on all the windows. I aroused. NO-ONE. so I called the welcome center again. The person who answered tried to be helpful and said help. Had notified the staff that we needed sheets. We got NOTHING. my husband went to the welcome center Friday morning and. Complained about the thermostat. It was way too warm in the house and all of us had a horrible nights sleep. We left the house early Friday morning and got got back to the house about 9 p m and found the temp in the house very comfortable and sheets on the counter. Thank you. Our stay after Thursday night then was very nice. But Thursday nights way things were handled was very unexceptable. My husband also says the parking situation is very bad. I mentioned before we ever arrived that you need to notify your guests way ahead of their arrival date that they need to check in at the welcome center. Not 1 day ahead of arrival. To have such a lovely area and to have so many problems
