This was our first time visiting Pulgia and we found the Trullo tranquil and exactly as represented in the photos. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfortable. We also had great access to WIFI and my husband was able to watch the Chicago Cubs try again for the World Series and I was able to attend my Zoom class while sipping brandy in the security of a sweetly restored historic dwelling. The region is magical with landscapes of trulli, vineyards, olive groves. We enjoyed great lunches in neighboring villages with great local wines and helpful people. Many thanks to Richard and his kindness and attention. A car is a must to enjoy the area and it is recommended to use a car that is nimble and a driver able to navigate the countryside.

Le Trullo était parfait. Environnement très typique et paisible. Pour la première fois, nous avions tout ce qu'il nous fallait : pour cuisiner, pour le linge fourni jusqu'aux serviettes de plage et le parasol ! Emplacement idéal pour rayonner dans le milieu des Pouilles et proche dela mer. Nous recommandons vivement.

Le chic champêtre à l'italienne

Charmante demeure typique de la région, au calme et idéalement situé entre ville et campagne. Elle dispose de tout le nécessaire, et même plus, pour passer un séjour agréable entre visite de villages typiques et farniente. Excellent holiday in the trullo

We were delighted to spend our holiday in this authentic trullo, cosy and well equipped.,in a lovely setting.The property is well situated for visiting this beautiful and fascinating area. Trulli wonderful

A lovely area close to many interesting and pretty towns/ villages. Great communications with the owner and any queries quickly sorted via the agent. Would certainly recommend this holiday home. We hope to be back sometime soon!

Third visit and we are hooked!

We cannot say enough about how amazing this property is - it has everything plus plus - comfort, privacy, beauty and serenity. Each time we return, three times now, we love it even more. We will return again as we enjoy our stays here and the wonderful osterias nearby, especially Osteria Micchio in Pescarosa.

The perfect place to rest

The trullo has been so neatly restored, that every detail was a sight to see. The interior is complete and does not leave any room for further wishes. Absolute quietness in the night and the lonliness felt exactly like the kind of holiday, we were looking for. The owner, Richard was very helpful, eventhough he was not physically present, but available for our questions. The local guide Pierdonato from the agency then puts everything into action for us. Supported us even on weekends. Absolute recommendations!

Perfect in Puglia!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property. It was conviently situated within easy distance of both Cisternino and Ostuni. The home was beautifully appointed, sparkling clean, and incredibly comfortable, with a delightful outdoor space (which we did not take advantage of as much as we would have liked due to cooler temps while there). Richard was attentive, communicative, and incredibly kind while the property manager, Pierdonato, was friendly, helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this experience.

Comfortable trullo stay in the countryside

Four adults shared this property and it was quite pleasant with the lovely outside space. Had everything we needed and two large bedrooms. Owner and manager communicated quickly and provided answers to all of our questions prior to arrival. Would highly recommend this property. Location was quite and peaceful.

Beautiful property, idyllic location, could've stayed much longer.

I've just reread the property description. The only thing we didn't verify was the beauty of the local beaches but everything else is spot on. We arrived very late (thanks BA!) so with hindsight we should have opted for the bread/milk etc welcome pack but we couldn't have been happier with the property or the support from the owner and the local agents. The nearest towns are all beautiful and we travelled down to Lecce, Gallipoli and Matera in our Cinquecento rental. A good choice as it happens, the last bit of the journey from SP16 to the property comprising narrow track (a bit like some Cornish single track roads). We adopted the nearby Cucina Michio as our local (10 minutes away) pizza restaurant. Without a booking we got a takeaway on our first visit and enjoyed pizza and a bottle of their excellent Primitivo back at the Trullo. There's an excellent Mozzarella experience to be had at a Masseria near Ostuni, too. Only 15 minutes away. We loved our stay at Casa Adriatica.

Fantastic stay

Vakantie in een trullo

We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Cisternino. Gelogeerd in een trullo op het Italiaanse platteland. De weg er naar toe was al een attractie op zich! De trullo is heel compleet ingericht. Tijdens onze vakantie ging de douche stuk. Binnen het uur was het opgelost door Pierdonato, de beheerder. Prima service dus! Een aanrader als je de vald’itria wil verkennen en van rust houdt!!

Schön gelegenes Trullo

Das Trullo ist schön inmitten der Natur gelegen, gut eingerichtet (Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern und Türen) und sauber. Die etwas weniger als 1km lange sehr enge und holprige Zufahrt (Steinmauern) war für uns eine Herausforderung. Die Terrasse lädt zum Relaxen und auch Essen ein, nur tropfte es bei Regen oder mit dem Morgentau durch (wurde beim Check-out mitgeteilt). Ab und zu bekamen wir Besuch von einem bzw. mehreren Hunden, die jedoch harmlos waren. Anfängliche Probleme mit den Stühlen sowie der Waschmaschine wurden so schnell wie möglich behoben. Die Hilfsbereitschaft war vorbildlich. Auch wurde uns ein wirklich gutes Restaurant in Cisternino empfohlen: TAVERNA DELLA TORRE. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden (gr. Supermarkt in Cisternino). Bis zum Meer sollte ca. eine halbe Std. einkalkuliert werden. Faszinierend sind die riesigen Olivenhaine in der Umgebung mit z.T. sehr alten Bäumen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Trullo bei Cisternino

Wunderschön gelegener Trullo ein paar Kilometer außerhalb von Cisternino. Sehr ruhig gelegen, ringsherum Wiesen und Olivenbäume. Schön ausgestattet, im Prinzip ist alles da - nur sehr wenig Steckdosen. Schöne Terrasse. Manko: enge Zufahrt (hat knapp für den VW Bus gereicht), niedrige Durchgänge im Haus. Viele nette Städtchen gut erreichbar. Vermieter Richard hat sich mehrmals erkundigt ob alles passt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Lovely trullo

Very clean, kitchen has everything you'd need to cook anything, beds are comfortable, such a nice quiet area and communicating with agent and owner was excellent. The only negative i have is the track from main road to the trullo is although narrow...which wasnt an issue for me, but our hire car (fiat panda) bottomed out on certain parts of the track which was difficult to avoid. Other than that the accommodation was perfect.

Wonderful experience

The trullo Casa Adriatica was one of the best accommodations we have ever been to! This is Apulian countryside at its best! The beautifully restored Trullo is very spacious and done up with great attention to detail and offers a covered private terrace furnished with sunbeds and a barbecue. Communication and handling on site was very easy and well organized. Richard, the owner, was most helpful and attentive and sent us well prepared pre-information about the area and answered all our questions within short. We regretted very much to have to leave this wonderful place!
