"The villa is just as pictured. And I could literally live in the salt water pool. This home is away from sights, so I definitely suggest arranging a driver, as the roads are difficult to navigate. But this also gives you tranquility. The concierge Dani is absolutely wonderful. She planned the trip ahead of time with us and even helped us with a couple difficulties that arose. We also recommend booking a meal with their kind Chef Adrian."

"Plenty of room for 8 adults and 3 young children. It is an easy walk to the beach from the property. I would recommend renting a golf cart or car to get to town and neighboring Carrillo beach. The pool and outdoor space were very nice. The house is stocked with plenty of supplies for cooking. Cleaning staff came twice during our stay and did a great job. Great stay overall."

"This home is wonderful, with lots of room to spread out and beautiful outdoor spaces that look out onto a forested valley. Veranda is perfect for spying on birds, monkeys, and iguanas through binoculars. The location worked well. "The pictures on line are older, and do not reflect present conditions. We enjoyed our stay, great location. BUT, the place badly needs to be updated and is not well maintained. Just a lot of little things. The biggest problem was that the host was not truthful when asked about the hot tub. I specifically asked if it was working (because of earlier reviews) and was told it was working, it was not, probably has not worked in awhile, the pump motor is buried in sand. "What an experience! If you are looking for a change from busy all inclusive resorts this is a great option. The unit is gorgeous. Spacious with a back yard with a pool overlooking the ocean. It is in a gated community which adds to the exclusiveness of the experience. The beach which is in walking distance is gorgeous with warm water and good size waves. The property management led by Meaghan took care of all of our request. All around great experience for us. Pura Lavida!"
