Super place with every amenity. Fully stocked kitchen with all we needed to make our meals. The bed was comfy with very nice bedding. Great shower. Spent hours on the deck watching the sun come up, the boat and geese action on the river, and then a super full moon. The cottage is close to many area parks and beaches so even in October there’s lots to do outside. It was even more fun for us because it was possible to talk to the google machine and get music, news, weather…we’re old, we don’t have this at home!

This property was very clean and the decor was very coastal. Gas fire each night on the deck overlooking the water. Wood fire pit was available but a little windy during our stay. Within walking distance to several businesses. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Very clean and comfortable! Lots of things to do in the area, hiking, beach time, rock hunting, bike riding and much more. Shower was great and kitchen was well stocked. Would recommend to family and friends!

Perfect for our stay! Well appointed, clean, whimsical lake decor, large fire pit area, ample parking, and wonderful outdoor covered deck area - which was my favorite space! Highly recommend.

We love the Tawas area and this was a last minute booking for us. Nice property. Quite new. We’ve rented a number of vacation homes over the years and it’s the small touches that go a long way such as a few extra trash bags and rolls of paper towels. Some spices in the cupboard. Phone chargers. It was clear thought had gone into the amenities of the property.

What a wonderful and relaxing stay! We already want to return. The cabin was beautifully decorated, supplied with all the usual necessities, and plenty of other "extras" that were thoughtful and nice to have. Being able to fish right off the property and watch the river from the covered porch or even the living room was our favorite aspect. The location was so peaceful, but yet close to everything as well. Thank you for providing such a lovely place for the pefect getaway.

This was probably one of the best vacation rentals I've been to. How do I keep this short? Check-in: Very smooth and property was easy to find. The home was ready for us well before our check-in time and our hosts freely offered to let us check in early. What a blessing for us to not have to drive around town in our cramped car full of luggage! Bedrooms: very clean, nice size, comfortable beds, two night stands, plenty of outlets, luggage racks, ceiling fans, and an extra blanket (high quality oversized super cozy plush) in each dresser. Bathroom: spotless, high quality building materials, just the right size, plenty of toilet paper and towels, great water pressure, city water (huge plus, I don't like well water) Kitchen: huge, gorgeous, well stocked with all of the dishware and cookware we needed, extra supplies for the little things you're likely to forget (sugar, cooking spray, spices). We also had a platter of delicious and adorable homemade cookies waiting for us when we got there - such a sweet surprise! Living room: very comfortable couch and chairs, smart TV worked well, many games and in good condition, several USB charging stations, and beautiful view of the river. Overall home: very clean, well decorated, updated with high quality building materials throughout, felt very safe and appreciated the great privacy shades on all doors and windows, and the yard is very welcoming for relaxing and enjoying the weather. Highly recommend! :)

This home was very well appointed and located very close to town, right on the Au Sable river! We stayed here spring break/Easter weekend to do some fishing and get away and the best part of the trip was definitely this house. The weather didn't cooperate to allow our littles to get outside much (2 and 6 yo), but the home was cozy, stocked with board games, cards and puzzles, and smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed, including coffee which was great when we realized we forgot to bring some. Even spices, extra cleaning and paper products, and some pantry staples which is rarely the case with vacation rentals! The hosts were super kind and loaned us some extra fishing tackle for the kids, left us some tasty treats in the house to welcome us, and even left some sweet little Easter baskets for the kids on Easter morning! I'm so thoroughly impressed with how nice this home was and we definitely would stay here again!

I was there for a couple of days on a work trip. The property is very well maintained and very clean. I didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities but the view was great!
