The house was big with a lot of issues. We addressed the issues early on. The host sent someone out to fix the issues once and when we told them nothing but the broken furniture was fixed they did nothing but argue that the tech fixed everything. We had time stamped proof that the back doors lock was still broken (safety). None of the TVs were connecting. One of the fridges was constantly leaking water on the floor (safety). We arrived to LIVE TADPOLS in the very dirty pool. It took two days to clear it out for use. They didn’t have a security gate around the pool. The “gym” was nothing but a room filled with broken bikes. When asked for compensation we were repeatedly ignored. We had young children in the house, two being special needs so we needed some kind of security downstairs. Going back and forth with management when you’re supposed to be relaxing on vacation was not on my bingo card for this trip. We only wanted the problems fixed. The host communicated well before we told him of our first concern (live tadpoles in dirty pool). Some guest arrived before check in so they saw the cleaning lady still inside the house. It’s very hard to believe that the pool being that dirty was a miss. Every other pool in the area was clean but our host claimed the recent rainfall was the reason our pool was dirty with tadpoles. He knew guest were arriving so everything should have been checked and cleaned.
