Horrendous

Property looks nice from the outside… as soon as you walk in little bugs all over the floor, dead 8 to 10 inch snake dried up… and the water was shut off …. I called the management company and sat on hold twice for 15-20 mins both times they said someone would call me back … an hour and half later… we got a call back but we just had driven 16 hours and needed a place to stay so we booked somewhere else.

Nice home but no hot water

This first house was really nice. It had everything you needed for your stay. It had a nice game room in the garage. We got to enjoy the pool night one. After that, we went in to take showers and realized the hot water didn't work. We all had to take quick cold showers 😕. I was able to text with vacasa and they responded quickly. They sent someone out the next day. That person tried to mess with the breaker and the hot water heater. We was at Universal all day so when we got back the hot water still wasnt working. I got to text with vacasa again and they ended up moving us to another vacation home. We could have moved that night but it was late so we moved the next morning. Vacasa customer service was great even though the house had issues.

Great House!

We stayed here for a week. The house was clean and comfortable. The beighborhood was quiet, clean, and friendly. We used the house as a base for visiting universal and Disney. Orlando traffic was occasionally a pain but we learned to avoid rush hours and travel time was much improved. We loved the house and the pool. It was perfect for our family of 6 and grandpa.

Great space and location

We stayed here for a week and it was a great stay! We enjoyed the pool, plenty of seating to eat with our extended family, and comfy beds. It was nice having 3 bathrooms especially after pool time. Disney was a short drive away which was a bonus too.

Close to parks?

When searching for a VDRO, I was looking for a property near the parks. This one was stated to be approximately 16 miles. Unfortunately, to get to the parks you have to get on interstate four which adds another 30 to 40 minutes each way because of traffic. This information would’ve been helpful in making my choice. The property was beautiful. The neighborhood was very friendly. The living room furniture was a bit dated and worn, but functional. the main photo on the ad showed a beautiful pool. But in our experience, the pool had a cover on it and had alarm systems, apparently required by the state in order to get into the pool area, which was extraordinarily frustrating for us to access that portion of our property .

Windstar Villa January Getaway

Very clean home but starting to show its age inside.. some of the vertical blinds needed repaired and the carpets in the bedrooms need to be replaced. The house had everything you could possibly need while on holiday.

No cable , no gas

We really enjoyed everything about the house , but the cable and the gas should have been taken care of before we entered the property 20 days without cable and 6 days without hot water , crazy taking a shower in cold water and hanging up all your wash to dry , hopefully we get re- emburts

Thoroughly loved our stay!

We enjoyed a fabulous 3 week stay at this property in August 22. The house was clean, convenient, perfectly located (if a little farther away from the parks than we'd stayed previously) and the rooms were perfect for our needs. We had a few problems that were fixed during out stay, namely a buzzing air con in one room which made it impossible to sleep in. The one thing we really didn't like was the pool alarm. It went off CONSTANTLY and was extremely annoying. On one day it sounded for half an hour as the button got stuck and we had to pop it back out. Going in and out the doors was a massive problem as you only get a few seconds before the alarm goes off. We didn't even open the main patio door to the pool as it was impossible to get in and out in time. If we had known about the alarm before booking, we wouldn't have booked. There are other houses without pools and as a family with children aged from 9 to 14, who are all good swimmers, we didn't need that safety element. We've stayed in houses with pools all over Europe and have never encountered an alarm like this. Aside from the pool alarm, we had a wonderful time. I wouldn't book to stay here again, mainly because it was a last minute booking and there are better properties without alarms closer to the parks, but we had a wonderful time there and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Nice house poor customer service

Paid to have pool heat on before we got there. When we arrived pool was ice cold. Called the management company and they said to give it 24 hours that it takes awhile to warm up. After 24 hours it was still ice cold so called again and then one more time. Pool never heated up so finally gave up and just asked for out money back for the heat for the pool. Disappointing because we picked this house due to pool. Air conditioner for home is required to not be set below 72 degrees so expect to be hot most of the time. We had the air set for 72 degrees but not once did the house cool below 75 degrees even with high temperatures only reaching 80 degrees during the day. So expect to be hot when trying to sleep. Lastly the neighbors shot off fireworks until 1am which sounded to be Roman candles and other loud fireworks. So between being extremely hot and the loud fireworks it was very difficult to sleep at night which didn’t make for fun days at the amusement parks the next days.

Overall nice stay

We had no problem with checking in, the property was clean and well stocked. The only issue was the mattress in the 2nd master suite was not comfortable. No other problems.
