We enjoyed the secluded getaway at this remarkable property marked by its clean and new-looking interior and exterior. Our favorite pastimes were kayaking up and down the river, fishing, and roasting marshmallows above the fire pit. Every morning, I would jog with my son along the rural road while taking in the farm scenery. At the end of the country road where it meets the highway, one could buy produce from a temporary stand. For a wide selection of groceries, one can travel a little further down to Food Lion or Dollar General. There is also a local pizza place in the shopping plaza.By the lake, a spacious grass lot offered optimum conditions for a game of soccer or for just throwing a ball. For those who prefer to observe the backyard activities in a comfortable setting without breaking a sweat, they need only to lounge in a chair and view the outdoor play from within a roomy screened-in porch. Although the inside offered several games to entertain the family, the adventure that awaits nature lovers at this site is what attracted us the most.
