"Quaint location in the middle of nowhere. We weren't in town for the sites but if you like living on a farm it's sweet. Parking was all dirt and made things very muddy during the rain. Owner/proprietor was nice and friendly "

Had dog bowls waiting which was so cool because i had managed to leave their water bowl at home. Comfortable bed/bedding. So... my friend and I stayed in the "White Oak" cabin. "This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit. If you feel like shopping or eating out,...

"Very pet friendly, which is important to us, given that we have two dogs. Alan Webb, the host, has a cockatoo, which the dogs loved and which we loved also. Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park.
