Our stay at this property was unfortunately disappointing and frustrating from the start. Upon arrival, we found that all four beds (including the bunk beds and master) had hair and debris on the sheets, pillowcases, and bedspreads—making it impossible for our family, including three children, to sleep comfortably. We immediately contacted the host, and while a team member did come late that evening to replace the linens, the new sheets still had visible hair, forcing us to spend extra time cleaning and ultimately laying out beach towels just to get through the night.We communicated our concerns in a respectful and detailed way, and even offered to share photo evidence. However, the host’s response was dismissive and defensive, essentially denying the issue despite her own team acknowledging the problem in person. Rather than accepting accountability or showing empathy for our experience, the host chose to shift blame, citing “checkout cleanliness”.. While the host offered a 50 Amazon gift card(which I did not accept), she was unwilling to acknowledge the issue at hand and to agree to a modest, partial refund.Additionally, it was not madd clear prior to booking that there was an additional 55 fee to access parking AND advertised amenities such as gym and pool.Hospitality is more than clean sheets—though that should be a basic expectation. It’s also about responsiveness, respect, and professionalism, which were lacking here. I wanted you all to be informed.
