I was very impressed the the overall condition of the property and of all the supplies and kitchen accessories on hand.The personal touches of baskets of personal needs and snacks was above and beyond what we have experienced at other Vrbo houses. Beautiful home with a perfect location on the lake. Fully stocked house. They have thought of everything. Plenty of linens, kitchen ware, and beach toys. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and the owners.

House was huge. Plenty of room for all our friends and family. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms as well as kayaks, bikes, paddle boards etc. property mgr was easy to reach and helpful. Very clean. Quiet street and neighborhood. Lake was beautiful with deck and fireplace off the back of the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Summer Stay

My family and I spent about 5 days at the property. There was so much for us to do! My boys had the most fun playing on the beach. The host provided everything that you could need for a relaxing stay. Beds were comfortable and everything was very well taken care of! I highly recommend this property! We had a great time and were sad to leave.

Family Bonding

well, we were part of the 2025 ice storm and lost power and couldn't leave. Other than that, we had a wonderful time making memories. One suggestion would be some water on site for when emergencies happen as well as some flashlights and perhaps get the gas fireplace fixed.

Great stay on Black Lake

We had a great Thanksgiving with family at this house. Too cold to spend much time outside this house had plenty of room to comfortably spread out for our family of 4 plus grandparents visiting for Thanksgiving. We were surprised and impressed that the place was decorated so nicely for Christmas! Really made it feel like home. Everything was clean and extra touches like treats and even extra toothbrushes was nice! The beds were very comfortable and bedding and pillows were hotel quality. I would love to return when we can use the lake.

Amazing house and amenities!!

My family stayed at this house Aug 2024 for an entire week. So much room and though a little windy for our liking this week, there was still a lot we could do without having to go anywhere. The beach was great for small children and adults alike. Nice shallow swimming area and lake is amazing. House was well stocked, and the giant bowl of snacks, though unnecessary, got used by everyone and added a very nice touch to our stay. Beds were very comfortable and everyone expressed how well they slept. We used a lot of wood during the week to stay warm on the very chilly evenings, but Nick had no issue bringing more over to us. Overall, a great week and definitely would be our first choice to stay there again if we come back to this area.

Great place!!

Don’t hesitate to book…house is great with plenty of room for a big family. Kitchen has everything you need. Lake is great/water very warm. Back patio is so comfy for hanging out. Lastly, Nick is great at communicating and making sure all of your needs are taken care of. 👍😊

We have stayed in many VRBO lake homes. This is the most fabulous home. We never had one we felt like returning to, but this one is that place. Very well decorated, well appointed home. Beds were wonderful, plenty of extra bedding, pillows, kitchen lacked nothing, bathrooms were well stocked. We loved the guest baskets in bathrooms, the kitchen snack basket was great. Best swimming lake ever, shallow, clear, you will need water shoes, Michigan lakes are rocky. Wood for the fire, indoor toys and games, a tv for everyone, loved that it had three full baths and a half bath! All in all we loved it. The only things we felt it needed: A boat of some kind, like kayaks or small row boat to get into the deep water for fishing, a book letting us know how to operate the porch awning and attic fan along with check out instructions (so we dont have to bother the host) and kleenex...a request of our 6-year old! :) Be sure to eat at the 211 Bar and Grill, it is fantastic! We had a wonderful time!

Great place to gather with toys

Great place with lots of room, with all the necessary supplies for 12 people. Plenty of TP, garbage bags, towels, and even snacks. We used the paddle boards and and paddle boat and even fished and caught a few perch. We enjoyed each room had their own AC unit to customize the sleeping temps. Host was very responsive and one neighbor was very friendly. To top it off, dog friendly!!! The sun sets were amazing too

Fishing trip gone well!

I think Nick thought of everything when preparing a home for guests. He's included all from docking to parking, a very well equipped kitchen, to comfortable bedding, plenty of seating for gathering indoors and out, firepits and covered patios. Our fishing group really enjoyed the stay.
