Location was good. Pretty spacious property on inside and out. A good gathering place for large group. Great views. Right on the water of the large lake. It wasn’t nice or well maintained. Felt like they were doing the bare minimum. For the price, I’ve stayed in better places. Again It could have been worse. Wasn’t great. A/C worked. Bugs weren’t a major issue throughout the house. But we did find 2-3 roaches downstairs. The place was mostly clean. No major smells. Couches weren’t clean and were a mess. Everything was run down and cheap. Carpet was actually pretty stained. Kayaks were a tease, since there were no oars. They didn’t have enough toilet paper. Each guest only had a small bath/shower towel with no extra towels. They gave very small dish soap bottle that ran out on day 3. Same thing with soap, shampoo and conditioner. All these things are low hanging fruit and would be good ROI for the owner.Kitchen was not “chef ready” as described. You might want to bring your own pots/ pans and knives. Microwave in Main house was broken. Knives were a hazard. Plenty of bowls, plates, and silverware.
