"We had a wonderful stay. All the staff were excellent, professional, friendly and welcoming. Special mention for the team in Harry’s Bar and Restaurant. They were all excellent and the food was delicious!!
We took our Jack Russell puppy with us and were a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews but from our experience this is a great hotel to take dogs. They’re welcome everywhere but the spa and all the staff made a fuss of him."

"Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey."
