We had such a beautiful stay! The villa is in an amazing location with a stunning view. Our host was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed (we were 10 people). It was just fantastic - we'd love to come back!

Giuseppe was a terrific host, answering our many questions before and during the trip. Great house on the water! Very comfortable for our group of 8. There were several outdoor seating/dining areas where we spent all our time. Enjoyed a nice swim as well! There are 2 great bedrooms with views and 2 comfortable rooms with no view and a lot of street noise and street lights. Your group will have to draw straws to see who gets the good rooms. (2 twin bedrooms that we didn’t need). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, plenty of glassware… It did take some planning to figure out how to get to the towns we wanted to visit. The local bus and ferry stop running at 7:50 so you must drive your car into Bellagio to take ferries if you’ll be out in the evening. Get to know the ferry schedule, the C110 bus schedule and parking areas in Bellagio before you come so that you don’t waste time trying to figure out daily itineraries. Also, don’t rent a van if you plan to stay at this home. It would not fit in the driveway.

Giuseppe’s villa is phenomenal. The grounds were perfectly maintained and kept 4 kids entertained outside during the 10 day stay - in and out of the water. Everything was as advertised, well equipped, and very comfortable! Giuseppe was very responsive and even took time to welcome us personally (along with his adorable dog!). We loved the location which was central in Lake Como but set apart from downtown Bellagio. We had everything we could need just steps away (cafe, market) but were a short drive from Bellagio and Lecco for more restaurants and shops. This really is a hidden gem and we are lucky to have found it! Thank you for hosting us!!

Staying at Il Cigno was the highlight of our week at Lake Como. It was at once convenient to get to Bellagio and on the other hand that far that we loved the peace and quiet and privacy it provided. Although we took some day trips (the Bernina Express from Tirano to St. Moritz), we hardly wanted to leave the property. Our compliments to Giuseppe.

Villa Il Cigno Vassena

A beautiful villa in a wonderfully idyllic setting. The host was very friendly and helpful. One small remark: for 10 people, the kitchen equipment is a bit limited... but this did not have any influence on our lovely family holiday.

Gorgeous View!

This property was amazing! Such a gorgeous view! The property was large so it felt very private. It was so quiet and peaceful. Italian villa on Lake Como!

Giuseppe offered amazing hospitality during our first stay in Lake Como. The views from the villa were superb and the town was very peaceful with a few restaurants & cafe. My family & I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Ottimo, meraviglioso!

This is a lovely, lovely property. The pictures for the listing don't do it justice. As we toured the lake and took in all the other magnificent homes, I couldn't imagine that any of those residences would have served our family better. It is a spacious, well appointed, welcoming Lake Como home with immediate access to the lake, wonderful water and mountain views and lush gardens in a most serene setting. Beppe, the host, is a helpful, charming, enthusiastic man who is easy to approach and quick to respond.

Villa il Cigno is superb!

We recently rented Villa il Cigno with another couple and we could not be more pleased. It is a stunning home that is impeccably clean and well stocked. The location is prime with boat rentals and a ferry stop within a five minute walk as well as an excellent restaurant and, of course, a cafe for cappucino in the morning and an aperitivo in the afternoon. The host, Guiseppe and his wife were exceptionally responsive and helpful in arranging transportation for us as well as a cooking lesson with an Italian chef that was outstanding. Their kindness and attentiveness elevated the experience to a level that I have rarely encountered in a VRBO. Without a doubt, this home and these hosts deserve the highest rating.

Beautiful Villa

We had a wonderful brief stay at Villa il Cigno. The location is perfect to explore the lake and close to many restaurants. Giuseppe was an exemplary host and communicated with us throughout our stay and even walked us to the nearest boat rental upon our arrival. We especially loved relaxing on the terrace in the afternoon and gazing at the gorgeous view. We hope to be back again soon, Grazie Giuseppe!

Wonderful Villa

This property is lovely. Giuseppe was wonderful to work with & very helpful. He made local recommendations that made our stay even more memorable. The house is beautifully laid out with plenty of space for two families to enjoy. Not far from groceries, restaurants & Bellagio. Enjoy! We can only hope to rent again in the future.

Stunning property, great views and great location!

Highly recommend this villa. The owners were incredibly helpful prior to and during our stay. The villa is in a great location close to ferry for easy access to other lake towns. Pictures are very accurate. It was a dream vacation for our family. I know it would be for anyone else staying here too!

Italian Paradise

We rented this villa for our family and it exceeded our expectations. The villa is beautiful and we had plenty of space. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed all of the outdoor areas. In fact, we had dinner outside almost every night overlooking the lake. The kayaks were an extra perk as well. Giuseppe and Manuela were superb hosts and were extremely resourceful and available. The nearby market and restaurant are a short walk from the villa as well as the ferry and bus to the other towns. Needless to say, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. What a memorable experience for our family!!

As beautiful as advertised!

The description of this property and the photos are very accurate. It is located less than 10 minutes from Bellagio and has some small restaurants and shops within walking distance. The lakefront location is great and the house is well maintained. Giuseppe was great at communicating through WhatsApp and was prompt in answering any questions.

Amazing family vacation

Our family of eight stayed at the villa for 8 days. There was plenty of room, and the grounds were amazing. The villa is close to everything. We cooked in most evenings and enjoyed late nights eating outside. I highly recommend this property, and the owner was responsive and welcoming. I cannot say enough good about this villa.

Great house, amazing views

The house was beautiful with incomparable views of the lake; we were a big group of family and friends which could easily accommodate in the various bedrooms. The location on the lakeside allowed for daily dives in the water directly from the terrace or a ride in the free kayaks. Giuseppe was a great host, providing every information needed and helping to solve any problem which might emerge. If you don´t want to cook, you walk over to the village and have a pizza, or get all basic stuff from the local store. Boat rental minutes away. We would definitively come back!
