Nice apartment in beautiful Olhao - Worth a visit!

Nice clean apartment with everything you need. Unfortunately we had some issues going to the pool in the 5th floor. Lock was broken. Also the pool ist mich smaller than expected but it is nice to have one. Olhao with the fish market and surroundings is definitely worth visit. We were there one week.Maybe 3 to four days is enough.

Gorgeous Place

We were so pleased with our stay! The space is so roomy and clean. We found ourselves staying home a few nights because it was so nice to be in. From our welcome bag of goodies from Eduarda, the Beautiful decorations and space to spread out in, we felt like we were on a real vacation. Walking distance to restaurants, fish markets, Portuguese products, we were perfectly placed here in Jacaranda right next to the water. We would definitely come back!
Watching the moonrise at the marina only blocks away!

The apartment is of a good size, is well equipped with kitchen utensils, games and smart TV. The location is great, but the cleanliness was not top-notch. The outdoor terrace with furniture was not cleaned at all and had to be washed by us before use. The sink in bathroom 3 had a broken drain and the fridge/freezer really needed de-icing. Popcorn and other snacks on several bedroom floors attracted hundreds of ants. In bedroom 3 we also caught silverfish on several occasions.In the pool area on the roof, several decking boards were loose and broken and some sun loungers were broken. In summary, this means that we cannot give the apartment a full score.Despite this, we had nice days in Olhao and the surrounding area.

Home away from home

This is the third time members of our family have stayed at Jacaranda apartment. It is perfectly located to enjoy excellent views and proximity to the waterfront. However, it avoids the hustle and noise of crowded areas. The apartment more than lives up to its description. We will definitely have visitors stay here again in the future.

Jacaranda Apartment is great apartment in a wonderful location. Easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants but you need a car to visit all the surrounding towns.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment

we found a "mary poppins" apartment. Practically perfect in every way!! That also inc!udes the host Jeff's liasons with us to. I explained to Jeff i was.sight impaired, and he assured me i would be fine in his apt if.i could.manage a few small steps inside the apartment, which were.very easy to.walk up and.down on. We also have to mention Eduarda, the manager who greeted us. What a delightful lady. Thanks to all for giving us.an.amazing holiday in a wonderful and easy.location.

Perfect place for nice holiday.

The apartment is spacious, very clean, and perfectly equipped. Very convinient location, close to Lidle and Marina centre. Rooftop pool was busy. There is short walking distance to the ferry port to get to beautiful beaches. We would recommend local fish and fruit market, and the bakery in the town with lovely, fresh bread in very good price. We will definitely come back.

A wee gem of a flat in beautiful Olhao

This gorgeous, spacious, super clean and extra welcoming property is located in the centre of Olhao in easy walking distance to all amenities (we don't drive on our holidays and often properties say 'central' but don't really mean it!). The nearby barrier islands are utterly beautiful for those seeking sand and surf, but the bustle of new towns and restaurants are an easy train ride away. It ticked all the boxes for our family of six (with four older 'kids' who are actually grown ups!) What made this property so perfect for our family, however, was the heartfelt and genuine family welcome we received from Edwarda, who manages the property. She was an absolute angel and made us feel that this was absolutely our home from home. The friendly property owners were brilliant too - in contact at just the right points of our travel planning- and without us trying to track them down! Would completely absolutely recommend.

Property manager was fabulous!. She was available for assistance numerous times for a friend who needed medical attention and which she arranged transport & instructiins for best location. Well accessorized kitchen, adequate seating for 6 people in the living & dining area. Comfortable beds. Shower stalls much smalller than we are accustomed to, but typical for Europe. Location was excellent; close to restaurants, grocery, shopping & Farmers market. Safe, clean neighborhood across from Ria Formosa Lagoon & Marina.

Excellent locatio

What a find. The apartment was located in a very central area within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. It was also very peaceful and quiet. The apartment itself was amazing , had all the facilities and more that you could ask for. The icing on the cake was the spacious roof top and pool. Beautiful views. Would definitely recommend

Best ever

Jacaranda apartment was ideally located near the Olhão Marina. It felt like home (but warmer) as soon as we got there. Gorgeous sunsets, great restaurants and the Mercado were in easy walking distance.
