Walk To The Beach | Cozy Getaway

Welcome to your classic Old Orchard Beach cottage, just about 1,300 feet from the sand!

This is the kind of place that feels like a true Maine beach vacation: cozy, casual and close enough to the ocean that getting to the beach is easy. Spend the day by the water, then come home to relax on the deck, play a little cornhole or practice your putt in the fenced backyard on the small putting green.

And we want to make beach days easy! During the summer, guests can enjoy complimentary beach gear including up to 4 beach chairs, a beach wagon, kids` beach toys and a small cooler. We also provide a paddleboard that guests are welcome to use during their stay.

After the beach, come back, settle into the backyard and enjoy s`mores around the tabletop fire pit. We`ll even provide complimentary s`mores kits for our summer and fall guests.

Inside, the kitchen and living room flow together to create a comfortable central space for families and groups. There`s also an enclosed porch with two couches, including a sleeper sofa, giving you another spot to spread out and relax.

The home has the charm and little quirks you`d expect from a classic Old Orchard Beach cottage. It isn`t trying to be a brand-new luxury home. Instead, it`s a comfortable, welcoming beach house with the conveniences you need and an incredible location for enjoying OOB.

The home works especially well for groups of 6-8. We do welcome groups of up to 10, but want to be completely transparent: with 10 guests, things will be cozy! If your priority is having tons of personal space, a smaller group will be a better fit. If you`re happy squeezing in together so everyone can enjoy a beach getaway, you`re absolutely welcome.

Most of the home is conveniently located on one level, with the washer and dryer located in the basement.

Parking is available for a maximum of 2 vehicles in the driveway, parked front-to-back. Additional vehicles will need to use available free street parking.

Best of all, you`re only about a 5-minute walk from the beach. Load the provided beach wagon, grab the chairs and cooler and head for the sand. Then come back to your own little cottage and backyard for cornhole, putting and s`mores at the end of the day.

If you`re looking for a cozy, classic OOB beach getaway where location, thoughtful extras and time together matter more than having a huge, ultra-modern house, you`ll feel right at home here.
