The ceiling and ceiling fan was covered in dust. The bathroom smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned, the stairs clearly had not been vacuumed and the picture that is above the sink hiding the hole in the wall had fallen. Towels in the bathroom were also sour. Made contact with owner/property manager and they sent someone over to clean the ceiling and fan while we were gone. When we returned we discovered that they dusted alright but all the dust landed on our belongings. Very sloppy cleaning job. Went ahead and left the property after that.

This property was in a great location for a great price. The owner was very cooperative, and check in was a breeze. The only thing is that the train can be quite loud and it can shake the beds just a bit. If you’re looking for a prime location with a competitive price, and you’re ok with a bit of noise, then this place would be great for you!

This was a somewhat frustrating and strange experience. It was my first time using Vrbo and I don’t know if I’ll ever do it again, sadly. I’ll start with the good: This motel’s location was nice - just a block from the beach. The motel suite itself had a fridge/stove (which we didn’t try to use), 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom as promised. However there were a few concerns right away. There was a gaping hole in the wall of the kitchen above the sink with pipes exposed. I think someone attempted to provide some cover by putting a canvas in front of it, behind the sink tap, which didn’t really fix the issue and the canvas kept falling because it had nothing to hang on to. I didn’t really go near it and tried to avoid it knowing that all kinds of creatures live in walls, especially at a motel kitchen near a beach. There were several critters and bugs I had to squash in the bathroom. There was no hand soap or bar soap. The towels smelled like cigarette smoke. When we messaged the owner about it, someone mysteriously dropped off towels at our door with a knock (no one was there though we answered right away) that were in a Walmart bag and with the labels still on - indicating to me that these towels were not washed before being delivered. These issues are not ok but at the very least I wish we had had a heads up! “There’s a hole in the wall - sorry, here’s a discount” but we had no idea based on this listing & the amount we paid (too much!)

The condo is in a great location. The beach is right across the street and it's easy to walk to all of the attractions in Old Orchard beach. We didn't cook while we were there, but it was nice to have the fridge to keep some basics for breakfast and lunch. The condo is very cozy, but it worked for us and our kids.

The place was clean and spacious enough for our family of 4. A simple place within one block of the ocean. Can’t beat that! When we had an issue with WiFi, they responded promptly and all was rectified very quickly. Easy access upon arrival and clear directions about departure. Would recommend .

Bathroom shower was not clean. Floor in main area not swept, food in the corner under the stairs. Pictures definitely made it look bigger and newer than it is.

Sweet little place

Old Orchard Beach is a cute little beach town and this rental is close to it all. The very pretty beach is just a short walk away. The updates that have been made to this rental make it very nice. It is definitely small and those stairs are steep but we still had room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teens). The only things we didn’t love are the tiny shower and the fact that one bedroom is really a loft because it’s at the top of the stairs in an open space without its own door. So it’s really a one bedroom and then a loft (open) bedroom. But the main thing we weren’t prepared for was the train literally right behind the building. If it only came through during the day, it would be fine. But when it comes through at 4am, you know it! Scared me to death the first night. Other than the train, it really is a very nice little rental.

Nice stay across from the beach

We enjoyed our stay! Being able to touch base and get answers quickly is greatly appreciated.Nice comfortable beds, full size kitchen with dishes and a few necessary supplies to prepare an easy quick meal was great for us. Being able to park for free and walk across the road to the beach or over to the main street to buy souvenirs, get a bite to eat, or enjoy the carnival rides was priceless.Being at OOB was central to vising other areas when the weather wasn't conducive to habging out at the beach was very nice. We were able to explore in Portland and Bangor.What a beautiful stay and place to visit.

Amazing Location, Cute Beach Town

This was our first time to New England (my aunt & I), and we stayed for a couple nights here to experience the beach life in southern Maine. This was such a cute beach town, lots of quaint beach shops, great restaurants (including Johnny Schuck’s which totally changed my mind on lobster - if you stay here you have to get their lobster roll!), and of course the beach. It’s literally a two minute walk to the beach, and they have 2 beach towels included. If you want to do more beach activities other than just swimming you’ll need to bring or purchase your own gear for that, but it was perfect for us. The unit itself is very cute & cozy, it’s been nicely redone. I will say just be careful on the stairs as they are very steep & narrow, but that’s to be expected as I assume this building has been here for a long time. There’s a cute little living space when you first walk in, with a small kitchen, & a bathroom at the back. The beds are upstairs, one is in an enclosed bedroom & the other is in a loft area. They are clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to unpack and store your things in dressers if you are staying for a bit longer than we did. If you have to get up to go to the bathroom a lot at night & struggle with stairs, this may not be the place for you as there is no upstairs restroom, but that was not an issue for us. Overall, this place met our expectations, and provided us a comfortable stay. The checkin process was very easy, as a door code was provided.

Cute room with good location

It was our first time to OOB, this location is close to the beach, close enough to entertainment but far enough away to enjoy some quiet! Room was adorable, comfortable and had excellent amenities. Would recommend to anyone!
