Fun on Fern Ave

The property was really cozy and had all the amenities we needed. It is 2 houses away from the train tracks and we had fun watching different trains go by each day. Also it is very close to the beach with easy access. The location is very accessible to the main town and Palace Playland and Pier. We had many things to do as a family! The owners were very thorough with the welcome binder and house rules clearly explained. If I had to make a complaint the only thing that was negative is that the grill was very dirty and old. We ended up not using it because of that. The house was comfortable and we would stay there again!

Beautiful, Cozy Home

This is a beautiful property, within walking distance of groceries, restaurants and the beach. The home was clean and spacious and we especially loved relaxing on the front porch and reading. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Needs some TLC

The location and hosts were great. However the place is in need of updates and a good cleaning especially the showers and front porch. The house is advertised to sleep 9 we had 5 and it was challenging. The bedrooms are small with little room to maneuver around.

Quality Family Time

The beach was a short distance away and while we planned to spend most of our time at the beach, the weather didn't cooperate! We spent time with each other in the house and on the screened in porch enjoying the cool, wet rainy days. Nearby family would pop in for visits. We did a day trip to Boston and when the sun made an appearance we enjoyed the pier, the beach, and a day at Fun Town. We created many lasting memories at this cozy cottage.

Nice cosy cottage

Very convenient! Great location. Kitchen well equipped. We contacted David for a little problem and he did respond quickly and done his best to resolve the problem. We enjoyed living there for 9 nights and would certainly return.

Annual Family Beach Vacation

David's home was perfect for our family vacation. I stayed with my daughters, son-in-laws, and grandchildren, ages 1 -9. Everyone had a great time. This home is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, but an easy walk to the beautiful beach and Pier area.. The train goes through several times a day but was not disruptive at all, in fact it was a big hit with the little boys! OOB has a fantastic family atmosphere. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable for the week and David is extremely responsive to any questions. I would love to stay here again.

Beautiful Beach Vacation

This was a lovely house for my family of 4 to call home for a week. Cozy and comfortable, with all of the cooking and dining tools you would need available. The hosts were communicative about town construction that was taking place (and was of course beyond their control). An easy short walk to a beautiful beach and a nice walk into the downtown area. The Amtrak line is close by and the train whistle is hard to ignore, day and night.

Great House!

We had a great vacation in OOB. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. It is on a quiet street with a short walk to the beach and a little longer walk to the pier. I would definitely rent this house again.

Fern Avenue was perfect!

This property had everything we as a family could have needed and wanted. The location was perfect for a family. A short walk to the beach (which was beautiful) made it easy to go to without driving. The house is also just far enough away from the car and pedestrian traffic that was on the main roads. We were able to walk to the pier, downtown and attractions with no effort. The house was extremely clean and very well stocked with the comforts of home. We were able to have family dinners around the table and able to cook a meal easily with the grill and fully equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were small, but enough room to be comfortable and very functional. The living room provided us a great place to congregate on the one day we had rain and we were able to sign into our Hulu and relax comfortably. The owners had excellent communication with us. I cant say enough about Fern Avenue. We would definitely stay here again for all of the conveniences it provided along with the quiet that we were able to experience. It's a great place for families that want to be close to everything, but just off the beaten path. Tha is for an incredible vacation!
