My sincere message to other guests is to avoid this property! The property is misrepresented in the VRBO listing. It is neither beachside nor lovely but is actually kind of a slum unit and depressing. No washer facilities are available as stated. There is no check-in book with wifi or welcome information. Host was unavailable entire evening of check-in. Basic necessities like bedding and towels were not provided. I have never heard of a vrbo not providing towels, washcloths, kitchen cloths, sheets, pillow cases, and bedding for guests. Since no linens are provided it appears some guests were sleeping on the pillows and mattresses directly and soiling them. There were hairs on the pillows and mattress pads. There were light bulbs burned out inside and outside the unit. There were wall sockets with no faceplates exposing the electrical. There was a screen on only one of the five windows. There were broken and not fully operational blinds. There was no basic necessities like dishwashing soap or bathroom soap provided. No complimentary water or coffee. We saw were some reviews with 10. Hard to believe anyone would give the property a 10. Yes this is a scathing review but well deserved. Given the condition of the apartment and the fact that the host was not available on check-in evening we vacated the unit and checked into a hotel. Had must more to write but vrbo limits the length of reviews. Host has never responded. Still trying to get a refund!
